Heidi Kunstman's Online Review Report Card

I loved Dr. Seguerra. This corporate company MCR Health bought it from her and named it Venice Pediatrics. I Had my husband bring him in for a cough accompanying a low-grade fever for roughly 2 weeks, with nasal drainage. The doctor immediately brushed it off as allergies. And switched it to a well-child check-up and did his 2yo physical. (AND last time I checked you can't just switch a sick visit into a well-child visit). They proceeded to overwhelm my husband about he needs this, he needs that, and this. Keep in mind, he's behind from being constantly sick. They gave him the MMR with my husband's consent and gave him the Varicella WITHOUT CONSENT. Knowing, as my husband reiterated to them, HE HAS HAD THE CHICKEN POX AND PER INFECTIOUS DISEASE HE DOES NOT NEED IT. I agreed last visit to do a titer check for the varicella antibodies, and if it was negative, we would do the vaccine. They disregarded everything. DID A VACCINE WITHOUT CONSENT. And was any of this even legal or allowed with insurance to do a switch of visit? Seems like malpractice to me. FOURTH COMPLAINT: I was at the ER with my son last night for a 105 fever that was not breaking. Did an xray, and he has acute pneumonia. Now if the doctor gave the slightest care, she would have seen his extensive history and did deductive reasoning and put two and two together. Low grade fever, coughing, 2 weeks of symptoms, not getting any better, getting worse, history of pneumonia multiple times and MANY respiratory infections. NO. Instead she only cared about brushing it off as ALLERGIES, AND VACCINATED my son WHILE SICK. Because "it's just allergies", with ZERO proof that's all it was. MY SON HAS PNEUMONIA FROM HER NEGLIGENCE. AND I called and left a voicemail about it last night, THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK.

She is a exceptional Physician. So great with our Daughter.

First of all, she refused to see my child while awaiting medicaid transfer from Indiana to Florida. I had to pay $20 while I was not working in order for her to be seen. She looked in my daughter's ear, and said she could see her ear tube, when just 3 months before it had come out of her ear during a wax removal at her previous peds office. I was told that I'd be reimbursed for the cash payment once approved and never was.

She's been my kids doctor since they were babies and I wont take them to any other doctor less I half to. Dr is pretty great.
