Iraj Golzari's Online Review Report Card

I arrived early for my 930 appointment yet still had to wait an extra hour and a half to see the Dr. The receptionist was very rude when I asked how much longer the wait was. I the end the Dr. asked me what medication wanted to be prescribed????!!!!! I thought that was his job to determine, not mine, I know know about medications. When I said I get my prescriptions from a local canada pharmacy, his staff suggested I order medications from some online source out of china, VERY shady! I think he gets a commission from them? I would recommend using Dr. Pfahler who is much better.

I became a patient 13 years ago, after spending many years in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. I’m used to the medical services there. A friend recommended Dr. Golzari when I moved here to Venice. I’ve worked through many medical issues since then. I appreciate that Dr. Golzari understands what his role is in treating me, and that he can always recommend other specialists or facilities when needed. I appreciate how carefully he forms a diagnosis and recommends a treatment program. I appreciate how carefully he explains treatment alternatives. I’m very fortunate to have found him!!!

Yes you wait to see this doctor. But when he does see you, he gives you all the necessary time to fix what's broken and answers all questions. He doesn't rush in and watch his clock for your q0 minute slot to be filled and leave. He spends required time with each patient. His the old fashion doctor who truly cares about his patients! He once even met me on a Sunday at the office cause I was so ill. He has been my doctor 17 years and I'd wait as long g as it takes to see him!

I've been seeing Dr. Golzari for over 10 years and he's an excellent physician. I've worked in the medical field side beside doctors for 40+ years and that being said I firmly believe that gives me insight that others just don't have. The biggest complaint would be the time issue with an appointment. However, as he has cut back on his work load as he gets closer to retirement, the wait times have gotten much better. I always book my appointments first thing in the am so it's NEVER an issue. But just the same I love him and will continue to use him as my PCP until he retires or I die. whichever comes first!!

I had an appointment in 2018 and arrived 30min before the appointment. Waited in the waiting room for over 2 hours and ended up leaving... My time is also important... The Dr. Is good if you can see him, but waiting over an hour for a booked appointment is crazy!! Found a better clinic.....
