I made a appointment with Dr Blood 8 weeks after open heart surgery and bypass. When i arrived I had a fever and malice. His nurse noticed I was shivering so she went and got a sweater for me. Never took my Blood pressure or temperature. He was more interested in referring me to the YMCA for physical therapy. I ended up driving myself to Venice Bayfront Regional Hospital in Venice where I had the open heart surgery. They admitted me immediately for an infection. Thanks Dr. Blood for referring me to emergency. NOT

Definitely wouldn't recommend. He was careless in changing medications, didnt care to listen to my concerns. I attempted to explain to him my fear of the possible negative mental health side effects of a med he had prescribed while he was reducing my normal med regimine which worked for me for years. I decided not to take that med he prescribed because i wasnt comortable and at the follow up he yelled at me that he was taking me off my meds end of story regardless of my pain or concerns. Horribl

Dr Blood was rude and careless, on the first visit order to go cold turkey on a pain medicine I was taking for over 6 months, had extreme withdrawal because of it, and he showed no concern about it, ordered a MRI, and because I didn’t use his usual partner! then wouldn’t send that referral to a different provider with an open MRI, tried contacting his office staff about it and they lied saying the referral was sent, then sent a Urine test to an out of network lab $2200!'.

I saw him in 2013 twice for my chronic back pain. He is terrific. Compassionate and spends time with you listening and explaining

I had just came out of the Hospital for muscle spasms. I was referred to Dr Blood my neurological Dr.I had a sprained neck,The Dr formed a plan with me and had me report to Green physical therapy.It has helped.I was presribed pain medicine after I took a drug test.So all my Drs have put there trust In Dr Blood.The plan Is to take pain managment, physical therapist. Its helped a lot.So I HAVE GIVEN Dr Blood 5 stars.I would recommend him only if your hurt.
