Was open to spending time on an issue discussing options for myasthenia Gravis when another Neurologist had said there was no hope. The infusions were a lot of time and effort on his part and they made a big difference! I am so grateful.

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I have had 4 appointments and 3 have been rescheduled. No one in this office returns calls. We need to get test results from 3 weeks ago. Still havent had a call back regarding them. Do not go to this doctor.

God awful! Too much to type but pretty bad when, breaking from banging on the keyboard, he asks your name! That was halfway through the appointment and I had already seen him probably four times. And always at the end “thanks for coming in!” WTH

This is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. The doctor spent over 20 minutes with the patient next to my father, answered all their questions, and gave a lot of information. Then the doctor and his residents came over to my father's side of the room. They asked him a few questions such as date of birth, current month and year. Had him walk a little and said neurologically he is fine. There has been no MRI done yet. I was like how can you say that he is fine without having even done an mri. And he snapped back "because I've been doing this a long time" I then asked about the drooping in the mouth and explained that it is worse today. The response was "OK." The doctor then started to leave the room after only spending about 5 minutes with my father. He never asked if I had any questions or if my father had any questions. I had to ask the resident of it was a stroke or TIA. I would have thought that the neurologist would have mentioned stroke/TIAs. The resident then kindly answered

He actually listened to me and did not make me feel insane or like there was nothing to be done about my excessive tiredness. I actually have hope that something can be done to help me, and I haven't felt that way regarding my exhaustion in a long time. I am very grateful that he takes my insurance, and he is well worth the hour long drive from Tampa.

Dr. Ortstadt was very attentive and listened to my health concerns. He changed my medications and I am finally able to sit and sleep w/o RLS driving me crazy. I just wish that I had gone to see him years ago! I am now getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night instead of 2-3 hours. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends! I was 100% pleased with my whole experience. The office staff and nurses were also amazing!
