Cataract sx went well. Wait time a little long. They're good, but busy. Need a second surgery center since Sarasota services several counties.

Had a Cataract/Lasik surgery. From the first appointment on until after the surgery, l felt very comfortable and well taken care. Dr. De Rojas and the whole staff where very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I am very happy with the result.

I have a Pterygium surgery last July15, 2022 , doctor indicate that the surgery beginning it was recorded, after we have about more than half of the surgery he request to stop recorded, informing that he was almost done, stating to one of the staff, that I understood she was timing, he wont be much longer, she sounded laughing and said: not worried, so he states that he needs that supported words at that point, he continue with he almost done, they start to talk about how he will break his record, so I feel terrified as a guinea pig in the hands of someone trying to brake his own record, as it finishes they all celebrate for his new record, they pull a taped mask from my face that pull of all my little hair with no manners the tape they use to tape my eyes irritate my skin badly. I notice that still a white spot skin in the top of my cornea, it was not removed, main reason that I have that surgery done, he was in a hurry to finish of course. Rude Staff. I cancel my second surgery.

Dr. De Rojas knows his stuff and takes the time to explain all the options and all the procedures. He recently performed a DSAEK procedure on me, and it became touch and go because of my prior transplant and fragile eye tissue from my history of shingles inflammation. He thought "out of the box" to get this graft to work and gave me a successful outcome. My pain is gone and my vision is back. I am so very pleased with this doctor and all of his assistants.
