Promised to do one type them wanted to change it last minute to another that makes him more money. I withheld this info for years until after 5 years they called to inquire about me and whether I could still get surgery. Since he is the director of sarasota memorial bariatric center. If he had ever checked on me he would know I lost the weight on my own which killed my gallbladder. Which is turn knicked biliary ducts. Bad stent placement lead to several acute pancreatic problems. Mind you he was to include the gallbladder and since he failed to do any surgery I paid the price and now have chronic pancreatitis. If he wouldn't have changed my height at the beginning my insurance would never have even approved trying. On his records I'm 5'1. I'm actually 5"3 ½ which would have disqualified me from the get go. He's is about money. Staff was cool until I could not get any info from him from my chart. Wouldn't and still won't share even with me in there signing papers to have my MY medical records released. He still won't. That doesn't look good. However I did end up with a great GI team that they referred me to. Their nutritionist is horrible and doesn't understand other illnesses. Interstitial cystitis calls for a special diet. She kept offering me things with acids in them which caused extend pain in pelvic floor. She doesn't listen. Do NOT use her. Go find a real dietician that's certified. 💯 Office staff was nice. I would love my medical record released to me and my current team of doctors.

This place is completely unprofessional. They charge a $600.00 fee aside of what the insurance pays just to see the doctor. I advised them that I didn’t have the money due to a family emergency and still told me to come in. Now they declined my appointment, in my face after waiting for it for quite some time. I guess my health cost less than $600.00…….

Thanks to Dr. Chebli my Gastric Sleeve surgery went smoothly and at 6 weeks post-op I am already feeling great and reaping the benefits of better health. I highly recommend Dr. Chebli. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Chebli & his staff have been the most helpful this whole process! Mary is my go to for everything and I appreciate her patience with my constant calls. Dr. Chebli did a gastric surgery for me in Seattle July 2008, and he saved my life. I almost died in surgery, but he never gave up. All these years later I have kept my weight off, and am healthy and active with a BMI of 24. I walk 3-4 miles daily, eat clean, and feel wonderful. Thank you Dr. Chebli. I would highly recommend him. Beat decision of my life. Dr. Chebli was so easy to work with. Some doctors make you feel like they don’t care about you he definitely made me feel comfortable and like he was an actual friend who cared about my well being. Highly recommend
