Lance S Cassell's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Cassell for many years, from his office staff, to Dr.. Cassell himself, his patients receive the utmost care, he keeps you up to date on all tests & follows thoroughly thru to take the best course of care. His physician assistant Dr.Tim is WONDERFUL. THEY both truly care about their patients and our well being. I absolutely trust Dr. CASSELL & Mr Tim 100% . Both professionally & personable, they are Both truly excellent clinicians & Spectacular Human Beings.

This doctor treated me like a piece of garbage. Went here from VA community care and now it all makes sense. He didn't examine me, asked me 3 or 4 questions and then immediately says to me I am not prescribing long term opiate medication. I was floored. He made me feel like I was some junkie coming in off the street... He has copies of my MR I's and all my records showing all of the things that are wrong with my back and why I'm in pain. Who on Earth goes to a pain clinic and begs for injections into their spine? The reason for my visit was injections into my lower back. I have never abused a medication in my entire life and I also hold a master's degree in a mental health discipline and have served as a drug and alcohol counselor. Just the fact that he said that to me and and he didn't ask any of the right questions about what's going on with my pain. I left there crying hysterically still in pain only to go to the ER, again, just like when I go to the VA. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

Dr. CASSELLS: Appears to be an excellent pain management professional, whom during and to this day (More than three (3) years). HAS TREATED ME WITH GREAT RESPECT AND HONESTY. THIS DISABLED VET VERY MUCH APPRECIATES! Stephen Sorensen

I have been a Licensed healthcare professional for 25 years in Sarasota. I would not take my Dog to this physician. Worst I have ever met out of hundreds I have worked with and seen for my own health issues.

Intelligent,honest and direct. Understands the issues of patients in constant pain.

Was a patient of his for years while living in Florida. 100% the best pain management dr in the area. If you are a drug seeker you are looking in the wrong place. Dr cassell can and does weed those people out and will truly help those who have bigger issues than an opiod addiction. He will give you the time you need in the office to listen to your issues and send you for the testing you need. His staff is amd was always great to me and tim is as good as he is. I miss them! Great Practoce!

The totally unacceptable telephone hold time should have been the sign. Lance ordered an MRI, then passed me to his PA, who was a nice guy but never even brought up the results of my test. Then all they wanted to do was schedule another office visit with another doctor in their practice. Do Not Go Here. Terrible communications. Google Tampa Pain Relief Centers. They were fined $41 Million for billing Medicare and Medicaid for unnecessary and non existent laboratory tests and they wrote a check! How much did they really steel pay a fine that enormous and not go bankrupt?

This practice is all about generating income not treating patients! Dr castellated is not fit to practice medicine. He is afraid to talk to patients. Good luck trying to call any of their 37 offices as all you will get is a call center without answers. Go any where but to Sarasota Pain relief centers. Oh yeah look up Tampa pain relief.
