I was referred to this doctor. She might be good however, the number provided by my primary doctor and the number that is provided everywhere online is invalid and does not work. This is very frustrating.

I am very picky with my GYN as I want a female only. She has always been so very friendly and down to earth and takes the time to listen to my situation. Not only that she asks the pertinent questions that helps her know my current health etc. I would recommend her for sure. I host a local radio show and I don't' give high opinions very much but she deserves it. She is wonderful!

Does not understand GYN problems

New patient appointments were being scheduled 6-months out when I called in August (2018). The person on the phone who took my info was very abrupt then, but I overlooked that to see a good Dr. When I called to cancel, because I found a Dr. who could see me more promptly, I was shocked by the rude treatment I received from the phone receptionist when she couldn't find me in their system due to an input error on their part. The client experience begins, or ends, with the front office.

I like Dr. Geer-yan, I believe she's completely concerned for the health of her patients. Her office is pleasant and although you may wait some past your appt. time, it's never too long. However, I disagree with her that every woman requires yearly paps. The American Cancer Society, several medical colleges & experts indicate that depending on your medical history & age, you may only need one every 2-3 years. I don't appreciate a lecture on being wrong about my choice. Lets agree to disagree.

Dr. Lisa Geer- Yan is the best obgny I have ever been too. I drive 30 min to see her from Sarasota ,because I know I will receive wonderful care, well thought out instructions, compassion, great bedside manner, and a smile. Thank you Dr lisa Geer- Yan!
