The Center of Sight never ceases to amaze me! Dr Matthews removed my cataract less than a week ago and my eye is great…the technicians were kind and caring…I sing praises of Dr. Matthews and my post op doctor, Doctor Merstloff…thank you all. Of course, Doctor Banker is my favorite because he has cared for me for a very long time! Happy Valentines Day to all!

I recently needed Cataract surgery for eye problem. Met with Dr. Mathews and she explained everything that was involved with surgery. Found entire staff at Center For Sight very friendly and nice. Would highly recommend Dr. Mathews if you ever need cataract surgery.

Dr. Mathews is the only ophthalmologist I have found that was able to effectively treat my severe dry eye condition. I could barely see when I first met with her. She was pleasant, thorough, and professional. She designed a treatment regimen that worked. I can now see clearly with a minimum of discomfort. I will follow her when she moves her practice to Sarasota.

As someone who has received medical care in the US pre "managed care" we expect specialists to be brief and to move on to the next patient quickly. Dr. Mathews does not take that approach. She is extremely accomplished, very personable, and most importantly gives you the sense that she truly cares. She listens intently to your questions and concerns and answers honestly. A remarkable physician and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Matthews is fantastic! We moved from Georgia and she took over my existing complicated shingles issues. She listened and explained every step of the way in my treatment. I was very nervous about switching to a new doctor but she exceeded my expectations! I recommend her to everyone.
