During a routine office post op Prostate checkup, Doc found I had a serious heart problem and made a call, referring me immediately to local cardiologist, this saved my life.

Dr. diagnosed and treated me for CA prostate Gleason 9 for over 10 years. I'm still here. Have a couple grandchildren I may not have met without his recommendations and care....he is a wonderful man and a wonderful doctor.

I had prostate cancer back in 2001, in Clarence, Ny. I had it removed, retired from GM, and moved to Venice, Fl. I had to have 6 mos appointments with a urologist and found that my spa was climbing. I decided to go to Dr Letson, in Venice. He found that the cancer had returned and went into my bladder. He set up radiation treatments along with putting a hormone capsule in my right forearm. That secreted a dosage of hormones for a year. After that, He put another capsule in my left arm. That secreted a hormone dosage for a year. That knocked the cancer out and I have been cancer free since and it is now, 2020. Thank you Dr Letson Clinton Sears

My surgery was at Venice Hospital with Dr Letson. Because improper use of catherter in surgery or in his office, I ended up with infection that would not heal. After repeated antibiotic prescriptions, Dr Letson sent me to a INFECTIOUS DISEASE doctor for treatment. I ended up with pseudomonas infection which evidently stays with you for life. Normally a doctor after a surgery would either call you for a follow up visit at the office or contact you about your infection. To this date , nearly three years later, I have not heard from Dr Letson. Evidently fearing law suit was the reason for no contact. Note- No action taken toward Doctor or Venice Hospital.

Using my wife's Google...In February 2018 had a serious medical emergency and for someone who has had zero medical issues for about 47 years it was a very mentally challenging situation. I was assigned Dr. William Letson by the hospital and I thank the good Lord everyday. Dr letson has been a true medical professional to me and my wife throughout this entire process which is on going, but dealing with this has been the best it possibly can because Dr. Letson has truly gone above and beyond. I so far have had 2 procedures and several office visits. Yes communication can be a tough thing at times but in my opinion that is every business and profession. So you might have to make an extra call or stop by the office, but lets not forget that with other doctors, medical facilties, patients and insurance companies I believe we all would have our hands full by the minute. Dr Letson and staff, thank you for the professional and courtesious care I receive.

Outstanding Doctor. Office staff sometimes slow to respond but if U want the best Urologist call again.

I need a urologist so my internist sent my information to Dr. Letson's office. I received a letter dated February 27 from them telling me to call for the appointment. I called twice in March. There is a warning on the recording saying not to call more than once. This is April 13 and still no call back. So rude. Why can't they at least call and say we don't really want you as a patient. We are already at our max. The website says they are taking new patients??? Now I am in trouble again and my internist isn't in on Fridays so they say I have to go to urgent care. I wonder if Dr. Letson knows what his staff does.

Called for an appointment for a follow up from Venice Regional. Had a catheter placed in my bladder. The message on there phone said leave your name and number and we will call you back by the end of the day. I called at approximately 2:25 pm. The answering machine said if you call before 3:00 we will call you back the same day. She also said have a blessed.day. NOT. It's now Saturday the 17th. and no one has returned my call. I called the hospital the wonderful person who answered the phone said come on in. She even told me the approximate wait time. These Dr. offices better put a lot more help in managing the phone system. I have a better answering system at my residence then they have at the office. Radio shack equipment just won't work for a Doctors office. I hope your not paying anybody for that equipment. Spend your money on live people to conduct your business..... The Admiral

Dr Letson may have saved my life. I had a kidney stone attack that turned septic and sent me to Venice Hospital Emergency for 5 days. Dr. Letson stayed with me running tests until the right antibiotic was found, and then removed the kidney stone. I now drive about 150 miles to Venice just to see him. He's just a great doctor and a nice guy.

Dr. Letson and his staff went above and beyond to take care of my mother when she arrived in town with a 70 pound weight loss, severe pain and little hope. HIs bedside manner made us feel like family and his professionalism & quickness with referrals needed were completed with ease. We will be forever thankful for Dr. Letson and his team as my mother continues to maintain her weight, have less pain and face each day with hope and encouragement!
