Our first contact went from stress test clearance for a hernia operation to triple by-pass surgery! Dr Peter showed such compassion as a new patient. His reassurances and the personal time plus all the follow-up hospital visits while I was in ICU and after gave me a true sense of his care and concern ... and of hope!

Dr. Peter is an excellent Cardiologist with a great staff. He was aware of our immediate need and concerns. We were seen the next day in his office. We highly recommend Dr. Peter.

I've been a patient of Dr. Peter for over ten years my problem started with A Fib .Had a Anlation done which took care of my A Fib for ten years than came back had numerous procedures done until Last year had a pace maker implanted which took care of my problem. Always looking out for his patients best health. Spends plenty of time with the patients during visits. Answers all the patient's questions and explains in terms that are understandable. I highly recommend Dr. Peter for any new patients looking for a "top notch" cardioloist in the Vero Beach Florida area.

Five years ago, I was referred to Dr. Peter by my primary doctor. I was having shortness of breath and chest pain. After stress tests, nothing was evident but I returned since I was still having the pain. Dr Peter ordered a catheterization, "just to be on the safe side". It showed a 99% blockage and I was told that I was very near a heart attack! A stent was implanted and following medication and cardiac rehab, the problem went away. It pays to have a doctor who really listens! Another wonderful asset is Dr. Peter's sharp and friendly staff! They make my visits much easier, and they also see that my appointment is called quickly. I never wait more than 5 or 10 minutes!

While being prepped for an endoscopy, my blood pressure went very high. The gastroenterologist stopped everything and ordered me to see a cardiologist. Since Dr. Peter is my wife's cardiologist, he was able to get me in quickly. He ordered a battery of tests ,then called me to come in sooner than planned to hear results. It showed a blockage, so he planned a catheterization right away, after which we were informed that I actually needed open heart surgery! My situation was so dire that he kept me in the hospital until the surgery was performed, four days later. It was a triple bypass! I'm quite sure that Dr. Peter saved my life that day!

My husband had a serious heart attack while we were out of town. His patient files that were requested from Dr. Peter’s office came immediately so those doctors could look at his history. After he was released and we came back home he was able to see Dr. Peter the very next day. My husband ended up in the hospital two more times ( not heart related) but Dr. Peter was in his room every morning. He also really knew his condition and made excellent suggestions to get him appointments with a specialist that would get him off some strong medications (like blood thinners). Dr. Peter has patience with us and answers and explains all our questions. We are very pleased to have him as our cardiologist. I have also been a patient of his for the last six years.

I have been under the care of Dr. Arley Peter since I moved to Vero Beach several years ago, my first visit was the first morning I was actually moving into my Vero Beach home, which was from being hit with my internal defibrillator. I have lived in South Florida for over 30 years and Dr. Arley Peter is wonderful, most caring and compassionate. His comprehensive treatment and diagnososis has proven to me that I have the Cardiologist I need. I have a complex heart situation including several heart operations through my groin, robotic heart valve and open heart surgery. Also 24 hours of Therapeutic Hypothermia after having no brain activity for 38 minutes with no success of reviving me. At 69 I am now going back out fishing on my boat. Some say you only live once, I am not wasting my second life and am very grateful for what God and my doctors are doing for me. It is a blessing for me to have Dr. Arley Peter for my Cardiologist and for my wife to be treated by him also.

My mom had a stroke on Sunday. Dr. Peter visited several times while she was in the hospital. She told him she had to go to her granddaughter’s wedding on Thursday. He came up with a plan and she had a great time at the wedding. Currently she is showing little to no after signs of a stroke. When I met him, he answered all of my questions and it was obvious that he cares for his patients.

Couldn’t of asked for a better experience than Dr. Peter and his staff. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by his staff and was seen by the doctor very promptly even with a busy waiting room. Dr. Peter made me feel very understood and answered all the concerns I had regarding my health. I have been a patient of Dr. Peters for a few years now and never plan on seeking out another physician.
