He's an excellent orthopedist, in the office and in surgery. He's very good at diagnosing the problem. He gets X-rays done right in his office and goes over them with you during your visit. He tells you and shows you what is wrong and why it has to be fixed. He gives you options and usually recommends one of the options, telling you why this is his recommendation. He's serious about his work and it's obvious he's very concerned when things didn't turn out or last as long as precisely expected.

I went for pain in my shoulder. xrays were done. it was evident immediately that i had no cartilege left betwen the shoulder bones. Dr Dilella spent more than adequate time discussing the options that I had. He offered to give me a shot and recommended that I not have surgery until I started to have significant pain. Definitely thinking about me and not the money. Sounds like the people posting negative reviews saw a different doctor than I did.

Had a shoulder slap tear, a cist, a bone spur and a mildly arthritic AC joint. Asked to be treated as a very active older adult looking for no reduction in use. Surgery included 6 arthroscopic incisions. The relief was immediate, and now, 2 years later, complete and long lasting. Thank you, thank you Dr. Dilella.

Dr. Dilella has performed life-changing bilateral shoulder replacements on my mother. Each time she experienced immediate relief from pain and regained full use within the recovery period. Great surgeon!

Dr Dilella repaired my rotator cuff about a year ago. Kind, knowledgeable and personable doctor. Would highly recommend him! No complications!

I had an appointment with Dr. DiLella on 6/17/20, in the middle of a pandemic, when all medical advice on protecting yourself and others from possible exposure to COVID was simple; wear a mask! I walked in for my appointment (mask on) to find that neither the staff nor Dr. DiLella have chosen to follow this simple protocol. This is not my first visit to this practice but it will certainly be my last. I find this choice to be both unprofessional and irresponsible, not to mention disrespectful to patients. Cases of COVID are on the RISE in FL; how then is it that this fact is being ignored in a medical facility that is going about in a business as usual manner?

Upon hearing I needed shoulder surgery, I was an emotional wreck. Dr. Dr. DiLella and his staff spent incredible amount of time with me and answered all questions. Surgery was more difficult than he had anticipated but he handled everything perfectly. Staff support during my recovery was above and beyond.

Went to see him for a second opinion. Judging by the comments I won't be using him but I would never allow this guy to do surgery on me. He made me very uncomfortable and talked like a robot with fake expressions. No thanks...

Had two knees done and because of abnormal rotation of implants had to have both knees done again. He never even tried to find out what was wrong but just dismissed me out of hand. Told me it must be my back causing the problem.
