I suffered for 2 years with pain in my back from L3, L4, L5 & S1 disk compression and spinal stenosis. I had one doctor tell me "I can't help you because there is no pain going down my leg. My GP Dr. Harish Sadhwani suggested we go see Dr. Popp. On July 13 and 14, I had an Oblique Lumbar Interbody fusion and a Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Well, it's 2 weeks post op and I've been pain-free since the 17th of July.

Did absolutely nothing to help pin down a diagnosis. Laughed at my suggestions. Did not take into consideration a pre-existing condition. Arrogant. Avoid.

I have gone to Dr. Popp for almost two years. He has been professional, caring and takes time to answer every question I have had. He shared with me my status. Dr. Popp preformed my surgery, cervical discectomy with fusion. In my opinion Dr. Popp is a miracle worker. I am/was thankful to have Dr. Popp as my doctor and surgeon. I am shocked and saddened that he is no longer with Fox Valley Orthopedics. In my opinion FVO has done itself a major injustice by letting Dr. Popp go.

I went to see him for severe neck pain from a fall at work. At first he seemed concerned about helping me. By the third visit he seemed he wanted to end our relationship for some other reason.

I've been in pain management for 10 years over a cervical fusion gone really bad. My annual medical, cervical epidural, trigger point injections and prescriptions cost about $40-50k. My simple rear ended car accident left me no time to see a neuro who were booked 4 months out for Surgery. . My spinal cord was compressed and I needed surgery ASAPI went in the OR with one pain, RH numbness, a right side herniation and nerve opening squeezed. I came out with 4 other issues, worse pain on my left side, trapezoid muscle that's inflamed literally 3/4" higher than my R side at all times. Constant bad pressure inside my neck...I've spent thousands trying to find someone to fix me correctly won't take out a solid fusion. It's not a pretty one....but it's solid so live with the pain.. My PM doc labeled it. "Failed Back Surgery with nerve pain". Surgery.... It made it worse. Substituted one pain for another pain. The neck is like an electrical panel where all the wires come out. Neurosurgeons specialize in nerves.... My hastyness and trust cost me so much of my life. I had to close my business as I could no longer handle the physical demands.My medical has cost me well over $550,000 because of my choice.

Dr. Popp is the reason I walk, run, and Dance again!!! I was in a terrible accident and Dr. Popp really worked miracles!!! The first Dr. I was assigned to from the ER gave me a terrible prognosis! Dr. Popp pushed me to do what I needed to do. I continue to see him and other amazing Dr. at this practice. I truly love it here!!!!

Dr. Popp and his team has set my mind at ease as I deal with the world of workman compensation, I had an opportunity to select from any doctor and I am glad I choose Dr. Popp at Fox Valley Orthopedics. On one occasion Dr.Popp was not scheduled at the Geneva location and made it a point to see me because of my pain.

My experience with Dr. Popp was outstanding and he exceeded my expectations. He is a gifted surgeon, dedicated to his profession, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever about recommending him. His skill transformed my life as I thought I was headed for a disability prior to surgery and now am feeling as good as I did 35 years ago.
