Dr. O'Brien is very kind and compassionate. He listens carefully to your issues and carefully explains your options to you. He is a very knowledgeable Dr. making me feel comfortable and at ease at all my visits. He and his staff are very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Brien and his eye center, they all work together seamlessly! No problems, no concerns, no insurance issues! Thank you all so very much!!

Dr. O'Brien and his staff are above par. He did my work up for glaucoma and performed AST vision correction. He is great at what he does and every step of the way he was detailed and personable. He gets to know you and has great rapport with his patients. He always makes sure to follow up with you and is genuinely interested.

Being in my 40’s, I thought glasses and painful contacts were just going to be a part of my life forever. But Dr. O’Brien gave me PRK lasik and now I can see for the first time in my life. Dr. O’Brien and his staff are all wonderful. It has been life changing. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. O'Brien and his staff! Dr. O'Brien performed the AST correct eye procedure to correct my vision and the process was so smooth and easy. I felt very comfortable during the procedure and he was great with communication throughout the whole thing which was great because I was very nervous.

About 2 years ago I began to have chronic issues with tolerance of my RGP lenses, which I had worn for four decades due to a high degree of myopia with a marked astigmatism. After seeing Dr. O'Brien for the lens issue (primarily due to severe dry eye) I ultimately decided to opt for AST surgery, as my only other option appeared to be glasses (I was not a Lasik candidate for several reasons, and I had historical issues with soft lenses). Dr. O'Brien was upfront with me regarding my healing time and expected results. In other words, I'm not twenty-something, and even if I was, healing takes time with high correction AST (as opposed to Lasik). The surgery itself was a breeze. The post-op period--not so much a breeze. I was admittedly frustrated at times with the visual fluctuations, but having just passed the six month mark, I am finally convinced I made the right decision. I am functioning without glasses/contacts for the first time since grade school, although I occasionally wear readers for tiny print on food labels, etc. Continuing to work on the dry eye issue (as improvements here also assist with achieving my optimal vision). Dr. O'Brien is definitely my recommendation for this procedure if you are looking for experience tempered with patience and understanding. He doesn't mislead you with unrealistic expectations, but offers the much needed words of encouragement to get you through the difficulties you may be experiencing post-op.

Got the AST, worked great recovery was easy

I became a patient of Dr. O’Brien’s while he was treating me for blepharitis and then shortly after he preformed my Lasik surgery. The surgery was very quick and he made me feel extremely comfortable during it. I highly recommend Dr. O’Brien all around. He is hands down the best professional I’ve even seen. He took his time with me during every appointment and is very thorough. His “bed side” manners are incredible and you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients and is great at what he does.

Wonderful doctor with great bedside manner. He really takes time and is through. He truly cares for his patients. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Obrien.
