Denise Tonner's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Tonner is a great physician - she is kind and warm, and puts the patient at ease, instantly! I never felt rushed, and she answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would definitely recommend her.

New office and staff are terrific, I can’t give as many stars as I want. I have a somewhat complicated medical history and at least one somewhat rare condition. Previous doctors were not able to properly keep me healthy as possible. Until I found this one! Dr Tonner is a very conscientious, thorough and kind doctor. That’s difficult to find at times. She’s truly interested in you and your health. In fact, I owe her my life by her being insistent I have a mammogram even though that’s not her area of medicine. So glad I found her and highly recommend her.

We’ve been patients off Dr Tonner for many years and have complete faith in her ability to monitor our health. She is caring and listens to our concerns, always advising us on the best approach to resolve issues.

Cannot get an appointment for a whole month for my Mom who was hospitalized and just being released from nursing care. Front office did not seem to care...my mother has been a patient of Dr Tonner for MANY years......this is not acceptable.

She is the best Doctor I have ever had. She takes time with you send explains everything in detail. She is incredible and I highly recommend her. I have been seeing her for years and my blood sugars are great.

I have been seeing Dr. Tonner for 5 years and find her to be one of the best doctors I have ever gone to. She asks the right questions for my condition and pays attention to my answers.

Dr Tonner is excellent. She runs on time and explains everything. She cares. The lab is excellent. Very little staff turnover. Best doc in town.

Honestly I wouldn't leave a single star if I had a choice. Last yr during the peak of the pandemic, I owed Denise Tonner roughly about $200 for a visit. I took about two months to pay it because I was financially strapped but I paid it. During that time I was wondering why my prescription hadn't been refilled and when I called to find out, they told me my Dr refused to refill it. So I called the office to find out why and the receptionist advised me that Denise kicked me out of her practice because I had owed money. So I was like but I paid it! And asked them what about my medication? I can't go one day without taking it, I have to take these meds everyday for the rest of my life. The receptionist replied since I'm no longer her patient she doesn't refill my meds either. l was like Really?????? The receptionsist then told me that Denise would add me back as her patient and refill my prescription as soon as she does. By this time days had gone by without it. I called back and asked what's going on, they tell me they have to send her another email reminding her that I still need my meds, and they did, but still nothing! By this time I was around 1 wk without my medication that I'm supposed to take EVERY DAY! I call back again and even the receptionist felt so bad for me and couldn't explain the delay. She knew I was in danger due to my hypothyroid condition and told me to stop by so she could give me some free medication while Denise finally refills my meds and sent her yet ANOTHER reminder. Fast forward to the present, I had an appointment scheduled to see her, no calls no text messages to remind me of my upcoming appointent so I called to find out what's going on and dissapointed yet again when they tell me no appointment was scheduled. I'm long over due for my thyroid exam but my new specialist can't see me unitl June. I must be a glutton for punishment because after her putting my life at risk the first time I shoud've left her practice then. Her only concern is getting paid and does the bare minium for her pay check. Stay away from this doctor, if you don't pay her as soon as she sends you a bill she will leave you for dead basically. Never in my lifre have I ever experienced such horrible treatment from any doctor ever. Beware!

First visit. From the first phone call to schedule appointment to the completion of payment all went flawless. I was impressed with every staff member as well as other patients that crossed my path. All were kind, respectful, friendly, and conscientiousness. Professionalism, experience, & humanity.; I hit the trifecta in a world where these qualities seem more and more elusive.

FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE. If you do not pay her as soon as she sends the bill she will kick you out of her practice and leave you for dead basically. I paid a $200 bill after being only two months late and she didnt refill my medication that I have to take everyday for my enitre life. I was one week with out my medicaiton because $200 was worth more important to her than providing me with quality care.
