Wonderful physician. Kind and brilliant.

After having lived all over the U.S., our family has a true appreciation for those who genuinely are concerned for our needs and are available to us. Dr. Miranda and staff treat us like family and we feel so fortunate to have access to someone who has such passion for his work and the enthusiasm and positivity for healing.

Dr Miranda has been treating our son for over 5 years now. He has been a blessing for our entire family, thanks to him and his care, we were able to diagnose and treat our son. Five years ago our son was non-verbal and could not attend any school. We went to all the top neurologist in miami, and none of them were able to figure out what was going on with our son. Today, our son is completely verbal, he is reading and writing way above his grade level, and thriving independently in school. Dr Miranda is direct and to the point(which my husband and I appreciate) thanks to his early diagnosis, and treatment our son is doing great. Dr. Miranda and his staff are very helpful and caring. Great experience.

Dr. Miranda seemed good at first, he appeared to have good bedside manner with my young child (under 5). He provided appropriate diagnostic testing (EEGs, genetic testing, etc). Then one day, I called to request a refill of a rescue medication for my sons febrile seizures. He proceeded to berate me on the phone asking me “how many seizures are you going to let him have before you put him on daily medication, what number of seizures is enough?!”. This doctor had NEVER recommended or even brought up daily medication for my son before this point. If he had, we would have happily put him on them! He spoke to me as if I was a bad mother and purposely neglecting appropriate treatment that had NEVER been brought up to us! I was stunned and hung up crying, called my husband, enrolled my child with a new neurologist, and never went back.

Dr. Miranda and his staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated how Dr. Miranda really took his time to explain my condition with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr Miranda is not the problem it’s a girl at the front desk that tormented me. She insisted she had called me several times for an appointment which was a lie. She handles the front desk don’t remember her name. I left a number of messages for someone to call me and no one ever returned a call to me. I’m in so much pain all the time and she was antagonized me over and over again telling me she had called me several times. She was lying to my face. I can’t believe she works in an office and treats patients like dirt.

I love love love Dr. Miranda and his staff! So pleasant and accommodating and his bedside manner is exceptional. You don’t feel like you’re talking to a doctor but rather a very knowledgeable and understanding friend.
