My father is a Cancer patient at this practice. His wife did not know the office was closed on Friday and did not plan accordingly for his medication. I called the office and the doctor on call Dr.Weeks returned my call promptly. I am only visiting here from Georgia and am not involved in his care for the most part. He is not my dads primary physician at this practice. So I will not fault him for saying he would not do it. My problem was he was apathetic. Inconvenienced. Not only apathetic but downright rude. He used the words “not happenin’” as if I had insulted him for asking. He did not ask any questions about my dads condition. Mind you this is at 10am on a Friday. Not a weekend or holiday. It worked out that my father had enough medication for the three day weekend. No thanks to Dr Weeks who could not have cared less. No bedside manner or business in patient care.

I knew he had a great reputation when my gyn oncologist suggested that I work with him because he was local to me. He is a dignified man and very nice as well. My type of cancer is so rare that it is doubtful he had much experience with it but he made it his mission to learn. When everyone else gave up on me he didnt. That made such a difference to me. Im still fighting and he is still fighting for me. I couldnt ask for a better doctor.
