I have been going to Dr. Ulrich for 25 years and would recommend him to anyone. He is extremely competent, friendly, can be humorous, and most of all he knows what is doing. He has taken good care of me in all my ailments except orthopedic including my heart issues. The office personnel is also very friendly, courteous and kind. Appointments are 95% on time if not early. Highly recommend this office.

Dr Ulrich treated my husband for close to 7 years. Even though husband had the same complaints for the entire time, and dr had tests performed, dr did not read the test results and provide the diagnosis of IPF as stated on the reports. He robbed us of time that we could have had together through negligence. Fatal disease but with due care disease can be delayed. Not telling did not allow us to avoid things that are detrimental to his health.

I went to Dr. Ulrich for a persistent pain in my left side. He prescribed a colonoscopy and gave me the preliminary CLEANSING meds with no instructions about the catastrophic results. I went to work and was struck with explosive diarrhea in the middle of my shift. The next morning I went to the facility for the colonoscopy. The machinery was down. I was told to go across the street to the hospital. Dr. Ulrich then performed the colonoscopy on me, strapped vertically to the table; no meds.

It was my first procedure of this type, so I didn't know just HOW unprofessional his treatment really was. I went home and never heard a word about the results. 3 weeks later I made an appointment to go to his OFFICE and get the results. His explanation, they had called a "different Deborah Smith, apparently". He put my films up on the board and with a half-hearted point of his finger, said, "There's some diverticular activity here." That was it. No suggestion of treatment or diet change. Nothing. I think he's a quack. He's totally incompetent and I'm amazed he is still practicing medicine. He should have his license revoked.

Dr. Ulrich made a very serious mistake in prescribing a drug. Fortunately, the nurse at the assisted living facility noticed the mistake and was able to prevent a serious consequence of prescribing a drug that was 10 times the strength it should have been. There was NEVER any contact from Dr. Ulrich, expressing his regret for the mistake or an apology. He just ignored the matter!

A superior diagnostician and kind and caring physician. A rare find.

God help you if you run out of a routine medication between visits. I had scary high blood pressure and he wouldn't return my phone calls for a BP meds refill. Finally, another Dr. in his practice took care of it. This led to me and my poor innocent husband both being terminated from his practice. Worse still,is upon picking up my medical records from his office to take to my new physician, several visit notes dictated either by Ulrich or a staff member read: "uses illicit drugs recreationally," or something equally horrid and untrue!! I was flabbergasted and am still, some 3 yrs later, considering what action(s) to take to have this false & misleading information purged. Needless to say the records are worthless and will be forwarded to the AMA or regional medical association only.
