Dr Charnas was assigned to see my wife in the Altamonte Springs ER recently. We believed the wife was having a reaction to a recent blood thinner prescribed by the hematologist. The wife was swollen on all of her limbs, face and in fear for her life, so we checked in to the ER! Dr Charnas was assigned to handle my wife's care that evening and without any real physical evaluation of her body to evaluate the chief complaint, she simply accused my wife of only visiting the ER for pain medicine and shortly thereafter discharged her about 10pm. I can tell you we were VERY angry and immediately sought a second opinion bright and early the next morning. At 8 AM we were in the hematologists office who confirmed that she was having an allergic reaction to the blood thinner and immediately changed the treatment! She could have died! The doctor was rude (and in my opinion, totally incompetent)! Considering malpractice based on this visit! Will never let this doctor oversee my wife's care in any capacity again!

She misdiagnosed my husband after waiting to see her for 3 hours and then after another 2 or 3 hours said "I don't know what is wrong with you." We went to another emergency room and they diagnosed him within 1/2 hour. She is without a doubt the most careless and negligent doctor I have ever encountered. Do not go see her.

I went to the ER in an ambulance due to the worst migraine of my life. Because I have a lot medical conditions and been in the emergency room a lot, she assumed I wanted narcotics, she humiliated me, she was so mean spirited. I DIDN'T want any prescriptions for narcotics. I have a pain management doctor. I just wanted to stay until they could get my pain under control. She came in the room, got my husband out and started her insinuations. She asked why I was towards the foot of the bed. I actually was curled in pain. The she asked me if Imitrex helped. I the heck do I know. When I said I didn't know, she looked at the PA as if to say, "see I told you." Then she got in my fact and told me I had to shut up and listen to her. Just one problem, I was screaming in excruciating pain. Here I am now, still with this horrible a and to add to it this feeling of humiliation.I hope the hospital removes her. They have so many wonderful people that work there, she doesn't belong.
