I have had to relocate to another area of Florida and have been a patient of of Dr. McDonald for over 15 years. I do want to recommend him most highly. He is the most most knowledgeable and professional dermatologist I have known.

Beautiful office. Dr. McDonald was so nice. He examined my rash and immediately diagnosed it. He prescribed a topical ointment and my itchy rash was gone in 2 days! I highly recommend Dr. McDonald!

Dr. McDonald may be a five-star doctor based on another post here. I have no way of verifying that as I was forced to cancel my appointment upon learning that they are a non-participating, out-of-network office! So, I rate the solicitation of patients a definite ONE STAR OR NO STARS!When asked if they accept Medicare, the answer was in unqualified yes. I would, however, have to submit payment for services upon receiving the services. It was explained to me that Medicare would then reimburse me. Upon further inquiry, I discovered, from them, on the day of my appointment, that they were a non-participating, out of network provider! Technically, this means that they DO NOT accept or participate in the Medicare program or any supplement insurance you may have. They were dishonest and devious in their attempt to get me in the office. Legally, they may be guilty of fraud in their current practice of withholding the fact that they are a non-participating, out-of-network office. I canceled my appointment and immediately posted this review to warn other unsuspecting potential patience of their unscrupulous, misinformation about Medicare. Caveat Emptor... let the buyer beware!

Dr. McDonald is the best Doctor I have ever been to. He explained exactly what was causing my rash and prescribed medicine that took it away almost immediately. His staff was wonderful, the office was beautiful and I can’t say enough about Dr. McDonald. He is not only a Dermatogidy but is Board Certified in Intetnsl Medicine too. I feel lucky my family Doctor referred me to Dr. McDonald.

So happy I was recommended to Dr. McDonald! He took a lot of time with me to answer questions I had about removing brown spots on my arms and hands. He removed a mole on my face and left no scar. He was so kind and gentle. The office is beautiful and the staff was great!

I've heard that Dr. McDonald ranks as the top dermatologist in Vero Beach and one of the best in the state. His reputation is well deserved. Unlike other doctors I've visited, he never rushes me through an appointment or fails to address my concerns. He explains the condition in detail, discusses treatment, and answers my questions--all in language a layman can easily understand. His knowledge is so extensive, his work so impeccable, and his follow-ups so diligent, I've never had to experience recurrences or even scarring from surgeries. It's little wonder that Dr. McDonald is greatly admired by the medical school students he volunteers to teach and the patients who can't afford insurance that he cares for gratis. Dr. McDonald is a brilliant physician; he's also an extraordinarily kind, generous, and good humored person who shows the same concern for each patient as he would for a friend.
