I've had two successful procedures with Dr Rivera and his staff. I have no complaints and nothing but good results so far. I have a third injection planned for next week. Advice - Go prepared. Tell the staff during the pre-exam interview exactly what your issue is, what pain you are experiencing, etc. Be forthright about EVERYTHING that might have to do with your condition/complaint. The more clear you are with your description that goes in the notes, the better the outcome can be. There is no such thing as too complete a list of symptoms. OH...and write down your medications...all of them...and put that list in your wallet. It is MUCH easier than remembering!!

Didn’t do a physical assessment and lied about it on my records. Injection in the wrong spot! Only cares about the $$$$. Complete incompetence.

Dr. Rivera goes beyond caring in working with you for your pain control. I am thankful I found him and this office. My entire family is a patient of this group and we are all pleased with the doctors and the staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Rivera for years now and each visit I appreciate him more. He takes time to figure out what is hurting you even when you can’t figure it out yourself. I had a newer pain and was just miserable. He listened and we chatted and he thought about what might be causing so much pain. 24 hours later I got an injection and I am so thankful. Dr Rivera and the entire staff and surgery center are incredible. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

My first visit Dr Rivera was with me for about 5 minutes and started talking about doing injections even though I explained my fears about needles he didn’t seem to care what I had to say. I will definitely be looking for a different doctor worst bed side manner ever

Sincerely a kind caring doctor that understands pain and pain control. I have been seeing doctor Rivera for years and can say each visit I appreciate him more. He takes time and listens to all your concerns.

Not impressed, had 8 shots in my back and my pain was not corrected

I was worried after moving to the Vero Beach area that I would find a pain management doctor who took his time and cared. Dr. Rivera listened to my needs and worked with my insurance company when all was not going smoothly. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Visit for pain in neck. First sent to one doctor and charged $200, but then sent to Dr. Rivera since not that doctor's specialty. Dr. Rivera then charged an additional $250 new patient fee. Office would not waive says it is his to charge. Moreover, problem was not resolved and in diagnosis wrote done the wrong side of the neck where the problem was! Bad experience.
