List of Neal Abarbanell's Reviews
Dr Neal is great he really helped me and I’ve been trying to get an appointment to see him again but I have not been able to schedule anything online and his answering service has relayed two or three messages from me that I am trying to get an appointment to start seeing him again on a regular basis. He is very smart, and I trust that he knows what to do with me.
Dr Abarbanell is a great doctor!
have been going there for about 3 years. he is great!!! spends time with you, has your health issues as a top concern. has a no frills practice but has your well being as a top concern
My fiancé and I have tried calling on 3 different days and get a voicemail every time. I tried to make an appointment online and I can’t click on any dates. I don’t know how you can be top rated and be impossible to schedule an appointment with.
Dr. "Neal,' as he has asked me to call him, is awesome. I never feel rushed. Takes the time to ask me about family situations, what is happening in my daily routine. Other medication and their affects. Makes sure that he schedules me at a time that convenient for me. Does not order same tests I've have done with in the same month. Most of all he listens and takes the time to explain why he think this medication is the correct one for me. This Dr. takes the time to listen to me. I can not convey what a great listener he his. Always paying attention to me, my medical needs. After many moves due to work and military necessity, I am extremely happy to have found Dr. Neal. Thank You, Dr. Neal!
While searching for a new general practitioner recently, I came across Dr Abarbanell’s phone number, gave his office a call, and was surprised when the good doctor answered the phone himself! During the ensuing conversation, I got the impression that Dr. Abarbanell is selective when it comes to accepting new patients, and I wasn't sure I was going to make the cut until I told him I'm a retired Air Force veteran. It turns out he's an advocate for military healthcare in Indian River County, so I was in. I've only been his patient for six months, but I consider myself fortunate to have been accepted into his practice because I think he's one of the two best primary care physicians I've encountered in the past 35 years in this area. And believe me, I've met so many doctors over that period that, if I had back the co-pays alone, I could probably put one of my grandkids through medical school. Doctor Neal, as he likes to be called, made the mistake of giving me his email address, which I've made good use of on several occasions since I’ve been with him - and I've always gotten a timely response. Honestly, I try not to take advantage; the poor guy must work 18 hours a day. And his interest in my medical issues has been consistently obvious and genuine, which means a lot to me. I think that goes to the heart of his limited practice. Just as fewer students in a classroom generally translates to better educational outcomes, fewer patients to care for should logically translate to better medical outcomes – assuming you’re dealing with a skilled physician (like Doctor Neal). Also, I like the fact that Doctor Neal is “telemedicine” capable – despite having a very small practice. I don’t really mind making the 30 mile round trip to drop my drawers in his office, but I much prefer to stay home, save the gas and not even put my drawers on in the first place. At bottom, I’m really happy to have found Doctor Neal and to have been accepted into his limited practice. I’m looking forward to a long and happy relationship with him – in good health. Cheers, Doctor Neal!
Dr. Neil is awesome. Please seek another doctor. I don’t want to share. Seriously he’s to good for you. Find another doctor. I’m sorta kidding. He’s wonderful look elsewhere. Thank you
Best doctor in town! It's so easy to make an appointment with Dr Neal just by calling the number. He will have you scheduled as soon as possible. Services are completely professional and topnotch. His clinic is very clean and well-equipped for any types of general checkups. My father was so ill that he even traveled to his house which is an hour away to treat his conditions. Thank you so much doctor! Me and my family are all very grateful.
Dr.Neal got me figured out in MINUTES and took care of me after dozens of doctors I've gone through before him. He saved my life. Thank you doc!! The only thing is his office moved to Vero Beach now.
He just did a GREAT job on my son. He sew his wound perfectly back together and I'm so thankful that we got him as our dr. Very skilled doctor, very nice person. Thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
