Omar Hussamy's Online Review Report Card

I do not recommend ever going here. These people are crooks. I went in for a broken finger, was told I needed surgery immediately by the PA, I never saw the actual orthopedic surgeon, and had a small piece of metal taped to my finger for a splint. Thankfully I got a second opinion and was informed I do not need surgery and that I could let the finger heal naturally. A month later, I received a bill for over $2000 with what appear to be several inaccurate charges. When I asked if I could let the finger heal naturally, the answer was an adamant “no” with no further explanation or discussion. I do not trust these people at all and I would avoid at all costs if you can, because you will most likely end up with a several thousand dollar bill and they will try to force surgery on you when it may not be necessary.

I was seen by Hussamy back in 2011 for a simple procedure. Which turned into a sexond surgery because the first one was botched. Twelve years later, I'm still suffering from the effects of his two surgeries. Would not recommend.

This is the worse "medical" experience I have ever encountered. I was sent there to get a series of MRIs after a 6/2021 auto accident. They did not have all the equipment necessary to perform a complete rib scan. They were suppose to send me to another facility but that never happened. My insurance was billed $4,180.00 and I was caught in the middle of a two year-long battle with a collection agency that was finally resolved in July 2023. You can all draw your own conclusion from this but from my perspective, I never want to hear this "doctor's" name again.

Dr. Omar Hussamy is an excellent orthopedic doctor!!! He listened and cares for his patients, he treats them as if it was him himself the patient! He goes above and beyond, and that is why I trust him in my care and as well as for my family!!!

First time i have been to your Office. About my Shoulder hurting. Saw the PA first, he was really nice and Explained the X Rays. Now waiting for MRI Sesults.. Great Staff

Dr. Hussamy was very knowledgeable and caring. I'm very glad I found him.

Dr. advised that he would make sure that I was walking without pain after this surgery, well guess what he didn't do the procedure that needed to be done and he did not give my husband (who can speak on my behalf) the option of agreeing to do this surgery. Therefore I am hurting worse now than I was before the surgery. Was charged almost $400 for a knee boot that I wore 1 day because I ended up with MERSA and the boot would rub on the wound and hurt. I wish I was able to post pictures of my scar. He let his assistant David close the wound and he did a terrible job. I have put mederma and other creams to try to get it to look better. It horrible and I am not a vain person but it looks like a butcher cut on my let. Horrible staff and office manager. I paid this provider over $1,500 asked to settle on a balance of $266 for $150 was told no by the office manager. I feel that it was all about the money for him. I used to recommend this doctor to everyone that I know if they had any orthopedic problems, now I would advise them to stay away from this office and doctor.

He may be a good surgeon but lacks common decency and professionalism. My surgery was delayed due to him having a problem with a pati nY understandable but what is not acceptable for him to speak to je like I am a child. He was gruff, rude and totally unprofessional. Surgery had to be cancelled again understandable. However he refused to operate on two days and that were available this week and wanted to push it till next Tues. which was not convenient for me. He lacks flexibility snd needs an attitude adjustment.

Dr Hussamy, Dr. Don (PA) and Joe (PT), Technicians and staff are the absolute best. My parents were patients of this office and now I am. The tenderness during the last year of my mother's life by every person involved in her care left me with tears of gratitude. The integrity and quality of care received by these professionals is a rarity in the medical field these days. I trust them with my orthopedic needs completely.

The staff was very professional, attentive and caring. They took the time to explain everything carefully and answered all of my questions.
