Being told I need radiation treatment was scary. Dr. Stuart Byer and his team were very highly recommended by professionals I trusted. From the minute I met him and his staff I felt confident that we would have success in treating my cancer. He explained the diagnosis we had from other doctors he showed the documentation for the plan we would follow and he clearly explained the answers to any questions we had.Over the next nine weeks I was treated with care with professionalism and with ongoing encouragement. Each day when I entered I was greeted and directed to my next step. The experts behind the scene who deal with the technical part of the equipment made it a point to say hello and to answer any questions I had. Doctor Byer met with me every week to check my progress and review the plan as it progressed but he had a Good morning and a smile for everyone he passed as he went from patient to patient.My treatments are finished. Thank you Dr. Byer and the team.

All of the office staff are very helpful and friendly which is a rarity these days Dr Byer is compassionate and caring and took the time to explain everything about my treatment before I started. I highly recommend his practice to anyone needed Radiation Oncology services.

I can not praise Dr. Stuart Byer and his entire staff enough. At my first visit he said to me that I will now be a part of the family and he was spot on. The entire team there at South Florida Radiation Oncology treated me as a family member.They always took the time to answer any questions I and my husband had and explained all the procedures in advance and in full. It was great to be treated by such a caring team as if I were their immediate family.If I was to ever need their services again I would be there without hesitation. I am writing in praise of Dr. Stuart Byer and his staff at South Florida Radiation Oncology in Vero Beach FL. I was treated there for prostate cancer from early November, 2019 to Early January, 2020. Dr. Byer is a kind person who nevertheless believes in being totally honest with patients. It was important to him that my wife and I understand completely, the process I would be following. As a result, our anxiety over the radiation treatments was minimal. It's also important to mention that Dr. Byer worked closely with my urologist, Dr. Hugo Davila. I got the impression during the weeks of my treatment that I was in good hands.I cannot praise doctor Byer's staff highly enough. The two Stephanies. Kate, and later, Andrew became like family to my wife and I. Their humor, patience and friendship made each visit a pleasure rather than an ordeal. One thing I would like to mention, however, is that the machine they were using seemed rather old. Because their practice is so busy, it might be a good idea for corporate to investigate updating the equipment. The staff does the best with what it has, however. Dr Byer is a great Dr. He is straightforward and tells you like it is in a caring and compassionate way. Dr Byer knows his field and openly welcomes any and all questions in an unhurried way. The staff is absolutely the best medical staff that I have encountered. Cancer is not a fun disease but Dr. Byer and his staff make the treatments almost pleasant. Kudos to Dr. Byer and his staff.

When my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer Dr. Byer took the time to not only explain things to myself and my family fully but talked us through the options that were available. He also took the time to highlight additional ways to make sure that my mother was comfortable and well informed about her proceduresoptions.There are good doctors and great doctors. The difference is that the one that is willing to take whatever amount of time to explain things thoroughly so that you feel comfortable enough about the outcome. Dr. Byer is a great Dr. and then some. We are lucky to have him in this area and I would trust him to to the fullest . He is the by far the Best We go to University of Miami for Oncologist but so Thankful to have Him locally for Radiation Guidance Support and Amazing Care We are Blessed to have him in our hometown Rate him Moon and Stars 🌟💙🌟💙
