Had two visits with the doctor. First visit I was given two referals that didnt take my insurance and he wrote my presciption wrong3 times a day for 30 days only 30 pills. I call the office 3 times to speak to him or to have him call back about the referals and the script but all 3 times went unanswered. Finally got to the second appointment and he was over an hour late and when I brought up the issuses from the first appointment he wanted to argue about it insead of just correcting it. So I just walked out with no new referals or the physical I was supposed to have. Just pathetic really an incompetent doctor. So on to find a new doctor.

I am a patient of Dr.Scalcosky and a Registered Nurse. If I could give him 10 stars he deserves it. He is a real Dr.who listenstakes his time with you and always prescribes the best for you if needed. When he runs late for his appointments I tell the waiting patients who complain that you always wait for a REAL Dr .who listens and cares for all his patients. He is the Best and a credit to the medical profession.

Recently I switched insurance and had to find a new doctor. This is always a daunting task because I hate being treated like a number or having a doctor that just writes a script to be rid of you instead of finding the problem. Dr. Schalcosky is everything Medici e should be. He is kind he asks questions he listens to the answers and he has not forgotten the human touch. He makes you feel as if he loves what he does and it’s an honor for him to treat you. I sir am honored to be your patient. Thank you for being someone who cares He knew exactly what was wrong because he asked the right questions and I have been brushed off and given antibiotics for a problem that needed to be treated differently. Also his MA Shayanne is a blessing. Sweet and personable I make an hour drive because they are worth it

Dr. Schalcosky himself is WONDERFUL He took the time and effort to really listen to me and my concerns. HOWEVER getting an appt. or even someone to answer the phone is a miracle 4 calls. On a silent hold from anywhere between 20 to 60 min before hanging up on the first 3. The 4th call i left a message for them to call me. At the end of the day no call. So I call AGAIN On the 5th call I get angry. And instead of following recorded prompts I just start hitting zero multiple times. Sent me to recording about 3 times. Then finally music. So I decide to wait. About 5 min later A REAL PERSON 😲. And I was FINALLY able to schedule an appt for 2 days later. What are they doing over there?Sorry Doc. I love your compassion and the down to earth way you treat your patients. But if I cant get in to see you what good does it do me? So I had to give 4 instead if 5 stars.

Dr. Schalcosky is a very concerned and caring Doctor he is genuinely a people person. I would have followed him to Florida from Cleveland if I was able to do so.I miss him as my doctor.
