List of Peter Millheiser's Reviews
Dr. Peter finally help me with my knees problem. I really appreciate it. The ladies at the reception were great with my appointment and all. Thank you!
Dr Millheiser himself is a great doctor. However his staff is quite lacking. Over the past 3 days I’ve called well over a dozen times each day and the phone rings until it disconnects. Last I spoke with Dr.millheiser he told me to call his office (he was working from home) and confirmed the office number with me so I know I’m not calling a wrong number. ***EDIT**** Save yourself some time and don’t bother with this office.
Very nice dr
I had an appointment schedule 3-4 weeks in advance. I get to my appointment. And the receptionist tells me that the Doctor called our because he was sick. I said I didn’t receive an call , Email or tex. Saying that I need to reschedule. So anyways long story short. I say when will he be able to see me. She tell me I’m Dec. wow! She also stated that she couldn’t get to every patient and them know that there appointment will be cancelled. Reminder this would have been my first visit. This is not how a business should be operated. First impression is the best impression. And Im not impressed. Bad bad bad. Very disappointed.
Second visit to carry my sister. First time I got a chance to speak with him about care being rendered. Was thoroughly impressed with answers he gave and the care he rendered. He even took the time to just chat in general. Found him to be extremely friendly and caring.
Hialeah office is a scam. Receptionist was helpful, but the doctor and other staff are a rip-off joke. The room I was placed in was full of old file boxes, the table barely fit in and the paper on the table had already been used. The x-ray table had no paper or sheet on the table and no cover for the pillow. I sat outside the x-ray room door and watched no less than 5 people use the same table and pillow! No hand sanitizer in sight.
One of the worst first impressions and experiences thus far with this office. I had called 4 times to reschedule an appointment and left voicemails, never once did I receive a call back. No one ever answers the phone at this location. I finally was able to make an appointment after attempting to reach someone after two weeks. Now, I have been waiting over an hour after my appointment time to be seen. This is completely unacceptable and I would never recommend this office. Poor customer service and the desk attendants clearly have no work ethics.
Good After Not So Good First Impression! I went to the South Miami Location on US-1 AND SW 152ND St. I think the staff here is very nice, but a little "bimboish" (if that's a word), I'm saying it in the good sense of the word. I think as a patient you have to actually have patience with them, and sometimes they are late to follow up but will work with you. Dr. Millheiser at first comes off as a old turtle of a man and I was kind of scared that he was too old to handle things, as he seems to have leg issues of his own (however I think he's like 90+ years old), but I figured experience is better than these young Dr.s that don't know much and my gut instincts were correct! He was the first Doctor after many that ordered an MRI and actual X-rays and dug into my issue and not just assumed my knee pain was due to my weight, which I appreciated. He was the first to give me a direct injection to my knee for the pain. He actually found that my meniscus disk was fractured probably due to me walking up hills in Alabama; and sent me to therapy to help strengthen the muscle around my knee; which no other Dr. had bothered to do. These GOOD doctors are rare and we need to take advantage of their experience while they last. I Pray God keeps blessing him with long life. IF YOU GO HERE... PATIENCE MY DEAREES patience, AND YOU'LL GET THE RESULTS YOU NEED. IF TOOK ME A COUPLE OF VISITS AND TRIPS TO GET MY MRI AND X-RAYS, AND A FEW CALLS, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.
Dr Millheiser is very old. He does not do anything close to a thorough exam. Stay far far away from him. If you are unfortunate enough to have him assigned as a Comp doctor he will say there is nothing wrong with you no matter how badly you are injured. Unbelievable he is licensed still.
He took the time I needed even though there was a full house waiting. Very smart.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
