I came to Dr Shallop with excruciating pain in my knee. An x-ray was taken and I was immediately told I had arthritis and giving a Cortizone injection. When I asked why an MRI wasn’t called for I was told in a very arrogant tone that he was the doctor and he didn’t think it was necessary. I came back for a second visit in worse pain than before and was given a second injection. After the pain continued I went to another Doctor Who ordered an MRI which showed I had a fibular fracture.

Dr. Shallop is very knowledgeable and took the time to carefully understand my symptoms, examine me, answer all questions and make recommendations for follow-up to address the problem (severe pain) as soon as possible. For example he was able to get me scheduled for a diagnostic MRI the very next day.
