Beyond impressed with Dr. Schlifka. He operated my 80 year old dad and immediately relieved his back pain. He took the time to explain everything before the procedure and reviewed all the details after the procedure. I would highly recommend his healing hands to anyone suffering from neurological pain.

Before I had my surgery he had me take an mri He told me that all that was needed was to clean out L4-L5 That seemed simple enough so I agreed to the surgery When o woke up in the recovery recovery room I felt like s cadaver I couldn’t move anything Turns out the surgery involved L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 and S? Surprise Had I known this I would have gotten a second opinion Today a year and a half later I’m a CRIPPLE!

Joining the reviewers that left worse off after using this doctor than before they walked in. Don't expect any help, follow-up or returned phone calls either, if a mistake was made. He disappears. Big disappointment and the mistake was supposedly the equipment not him. He definitely doesn't stand behind his work. Wham, bam, thank you, mam now pay your bill and go away. If this is what you are looking for, then let him cut you open too and ruin the rest of your life because after reading these reviews, I can see I'm not alone and I won't be the last either.

Excellent. He did back surgery on me, and got me walking after 8 years. Couldn’t ask for a better surgeon.

I had back surgery that is a failure.I had surgery in January and Am bedridden in pain. Pain meds don’t work anymore

I was in pain for over 2 years from a fall. Dr Schilfka saw my problem that 4 other doctors did not see. He replaced four cervical disc and inserted a plate with ten screws and I feel like he has given me My Life back. I was extremely scared but I had an office visit the night before my surgery and then the day of he came in and spoke with me before getting scrubbed up. Dr Schilfka talked to me like a person not a number. We went over everything even the silliest of questions that I had, he took time to answer. If you or someone you know has a problem that stems for the spine the only doctor to see is Dr Schilfka
