List of Britany Epstein's Reviews
after years of wonderful treatment at Palm Beach Diabetes I was handed over to Dr. Epstein after my previous Dr. retired. She's refusing to refill my desperately needed medication for over six months for bogus reasons. I don't know if she even has a degree! or won it at the lottery . I would not recommend dealing with her in any way
Dr Epstein is great but the support staff is considerably less so. No one picks up the phone, and if you leave a message they don’t call you back. I’ve been left on hold for over 30 minutes at a time. Unfortunately I had to find a different doctor.
I went in May 2021 for an endocrinologist with Dr. Epstein. She was recommended to me by my wax specialist. From the front desk lady being rude and going in I was asked if I had any significant problem for this visit. I told the residency student that I haven't been to the endocrinologist since giving birth to my daughter and was diagnosed when I was 16,basically just wanting to check my all my levels. Dr. proceeded to come in and say that she isn't going to be doing anything because she is moving offices and that she would call me in 2 weeks to request a full blood draw. And yet, have not ever received one call besides from the billing department. Careless.
Great doctor. She has great understanding of diabetes and I always feel I’m in good hands. Her staff is friendly and courteous Highly recommended
I had heard many good things about this doctor, but this has truly been one of the worst consumer experiences I’ve ever had. I made my appointment with Dr. Epstein office in December 2021 and the office was so booked I didn’t get a date for my appointment until March. This was all fine until the nurse scheduling my appointment told me that I had to get a referral from my pcp. At the time my pcp was my OB/Midwife because I was preganant and postpartum. I sent them a referral on Jan 3rd so that my OB would still be my pcp within my 6week postpartum period. The office didn’t call me until the day before my appointment months later to let me know that the referral was wrong. As far as they were concerned I’d have to schedule an appointment with my primary, which could be months out l, and then have to reschedule with them for who knows when. I asked the nurse Christine why she’s didn’t let me know when my referral was first turned in that it wasn’t right and I was told that I wasn’t understanding her. This office wasted so much of my time. By the end of the call the nurse told my that the office doesn’t even eccept my insurance. I spent months waiting for this appointment. This office doesn’t know what/how important my medical need is to be coming in. Without my medication I can go into a coma. It would’ve been nice to know when I first called the office that I’d never have been able to be a patient there in the first place. Ridiculous.
Very understanding, great wonderful doctor and staff ⚕️
The patient, Betty Brodie, had a very positive meeting with Dr. Epstein.
If I could rate a 0 star I would. My previous endocrinologist moved last year unexpectedly so I did some research and several people recommended Dr. Epstein. The earliest appointment was four months out which I was a little skeptical about but made the appointment anyways because its hard to find an endo in South Florida. I am a type 1 diabetic (for 19 years) and as many know insurance companies are stingy with how much insulin and supplies they let us have so I called the office and asked if there was anyway I could get a prescription for a Dexcom (which is a piece of technology and not a medicine) and they told me no and was incredibly rude about it when I asked them for suggestions on what to do in the meantime until I can see Dr. Epstein. They gave me no options and I ended up having to schedule an appointment and go through a primary care physician. Since I had to make the appointment 4 months in advance, I wanted to call and confirm the day and time because I had forgotten it. I called 4 times and left voicemails, no response. I ended up missing my appointment and now am currently looking for a new endo. For those who are looking for a new endocrinologist, if I can't even reach them to figure out when my appointment is what would happen if there is an actual health problem that you have questions with and can't reach them? Very irresponsible and unprofessional.
Dr. Epstein is an excellent physician. She is very thorough and I trust her to make the best decisions about my care.
Its always easy to visit with Dr. Epstein. Dr. Epstein is knowledgeable, takes time to explain her suggestions, patient , caring, and has an excellent staff,

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
