David Hellman's Online Review Report Card

I am extremely thankful that I started seeing Dr. Hellman over 8 years ago. He has always been Professional as well as a warm and caring physician. Dr. Hellman is with Cleveland Clinic which is a well run and efficient office.

Never enjoy going to see a doctor . Could not have been more pleased with Dr David Hellman. Helpful beyond words answered every concern I had .Feel Totally comfortable in his hands.

Dr. Hellman's practice does not follow up with their patients for weeks. The only way to follow up on with the doctor is to call the Cleveland Clinic's generic hotline number with representatives who work remote and give false information. The representatives have inaccurate data in regards to Dr. availability and claim that a "nurse" will call back with more information. After about 6 or 7 attempts to follow up on test results which should be pretty simple to do, there was not one form of contact made towards me to go over any results or schedule a follow up. I saw the doctor at the end of January, 2021 and the representative advised me that the next available appointment to see what is going on was not until May of this year. There seems to be serious schedule management problems at this office, I would not recommend going to this doctor. This doctor does clearly cares about quantity instead of quality when regarding the treatment of his patients.

I had high hopes for this visit with Dr. Hellman as he is a DO and I think highly of their training. He was patronizing, arrogant and frustrated with me. I felt that I was being reprimanded as if I were a school child for not seeking help right away when he didn't know that I wasn't in the country for the past two years. I gave a backstory repeating a diagnosis, specifically from a visit this year to the ER. This frustrated him to no end, going off on a tangent about how ER doctors aren't qualified to give me the diagnosis they did and basically called me panicked, when I was the farthest thing from it. When I was trying to give him more information, he would interrupt me and ask question, then would get annoyed when he didn't understand what I was trying to say. Towards the end of the visit, I questioned a medication and he cut me off saying, "if you would just allow me to finish what I was saying, you'll understand." I did not understand and he closed off any line of communication.

I have been going to Dr. Hellman since 1994 and I’m proud to say that I was one of his first patients in Boynton Beach. He is incredible, keeps my colitis in remission. He is not only concerned about my health, he always asks about my family too.I think of him and his nurse, Rudy, as old friends.

I have been going to Dr. Hellman for 20 years. He is kind patient and answers all my questions. Many people complain that their throat hurts after an endoscopy but not mine :-) he is gentle and Extremely compassionate. I only wish that I had an internist like Dr. Hellman I am still searching, LOL

I suppose he’s a great doctor if you’re thin and healthy. If you are a women struggling with your weight, he tells you how disgusting you are. In front of your kids. I would advise you to take a pass on Dr. Hellman. We all deserve better.

Not only he is a great doctor, he is a great person. Dr. Hellman was a inspiration to me. He lost a so much weight and inspired me to do the same. I did not need medication or surgery. He is a true doctor. I am in his debt

I was having stomach issues, and went in to see Dr. Hellman. He was so nice and professionally, and his staff really made me feel comfortable.
