Frederick Sherman's Online Review Report Card

Well, I have had at least 10 years of gastro problems, especially Irritable bowel syndrome C. So I have had a lot of test going back to 2011. So when Dr. Fredrick Sherman from Gastroenterology Associates of Florida, the very first thing he said to me was "I can't help you". Then he went back 10 years and told me I had 8 doctors that said the same thing. I tried to tell him that this is a different symptom, but when I said that he just laughed at me. What a horrible thing to do to a patient.

I was referred to 3 different GI doctors and I chose Dr. SHERMAN, only because he had an appointment that worked with my schedule. He was a pleasant surprise as he was thorough and likable. He had no "airs" like most doctors now-a-days and, he was patient. I felt very happy and comfortable with our interaction as he felt like a good, caring friend! He does not know this but, I did not want to leave ....:-). My colonoscopy with him went well. I was so comfortable, I snored durring my procedure! I typically do not snore & was a bit embarrassed as a female but, he thought it was funny. What does that tell you? He's awesome!!! I totally recommend him ALWAYS!!!

THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO SEE DR. SHERMAN, HE CAME IN DIDN'T INTRODUCE HIMSELF AND ASKED "WHY ARE YOU HERE"? I SAID I NEED PILLS FOR MY REFLUX. THATS ALL HE LET ME SAY. HE TURNED AROUND VERY ABRUPTLY AND WENT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT OF SAYING, HE JUST SPOKE TO MY OTHER DOCTORS AND THERE'S NOTHING HE CAN GIVE ME, SINCE I HAVE MANY ALLERGIES, HE TOLD ME TO FIND SOMETHING OVER THE COUNTER AND FOLLOW UP WITH THE GASTROENTEROLOGIST THAT I SAW BEFORE HIM. I HAD BEEN ON A PPI FOR YEARS,THEN THE COMPANY STOPPED MAKING MY DRUG.SO I WAS COMING TO HIM FOR HELP. THE DOC. HE TOLD ME TO FOLLOW UP WITH I ONLY SAW HIM TWICE AND DON'T LIKE HIM. SO HE REALLY DOESN'T KNOW ME WELL EITHER. SO SEEING DR. SHERMAN FOR HELP WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. I DON'T KNOW HOW EVERYONE GAVE HIM A GOOD REVIEW, IF I COULD GIVE HIM A ZERO I WOULD....

Dr. Sherman is an exceptional physician, I am so glad to have been fortunate enough to be able to see him with my elderly mother. We both had an appt. back to back and everything went smoothly . He is the most kind, respectful, caring professional physician that I have met in a very long time, someone willing to take the time to patiently and thoroughly explain your medical condition, diagnostic procedure, the pros/cons of treatment, and probable/possible outcomes. This office was the most peaceful calm medical environment that I have encountered, the staff is professional, efficient, kind, friendly, patient, and thorough in assisting you through your office visit. There aren't enough stars for me to rate this physician and staff, for my experience they deserve a perfect "10".

Dr. Sherman is the best gastro I have ever gone to. Very nice man very good doctor.

He is the nicest doctor I have been too. He listened to all of my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. He has GREAT bedside manners. I went to him because my doctor was not available. He assured me that everything will be fine and walk me through everything.He put my mind at ease. I am considering switching over to him.
