List of Gary Richman's Reviews
Absolutely awful experience with Dr. Richman and the cervical facet injection procedure that he did. I see all of these reviews about his compassion, personality, and taking his time but quite honestly my experience especially the day of the cervical facet injections was the complete opposite. He came in, was clearly in a rush, did not even explain what it was that was going to be done or quite frankly anything about what these injections even were. The absolute worst part was that he was in such a rush that they did not even put topical numbing agent on the area, there was nothing numbed he just started jabbing me with these awful metal like needles/injections and then left them in my neck! I was laying there hysterical crying. Never in my life did I ever experience as much pain as this. I assume the rush was because he was trying to squeeze all of his patients in so he could go on vacation the next week, which I’m sorry it is totally unacceptable especially when we are talking about a procedure on my neck and right next to my spine! When he finished the injections he didn’t even ask if I was ok, didn’t say goodbye, didn’t give me any instructions, nothing. I was then whisked out of the office, I could just barely even walk, I was not ok yet no one seemed to care. Thankfully I had someone drive me just in case, but according to Dr. Richman I “could drive myself home”. The fact that this is what he tells people.. that they can drive home, he didn’t even have the decency to numb the injection areas, no recovery or checking of anything after makes me sick to my stomach to even think that I let this man do this to me. The pain has been so much worse since the injections, since the injections my dizziness/cervical vertigo has been SO much worse that I have not been able to drive since these injections (which were about 3-4 months ago now), he never went over any results or gave me a report from these injections in fact he told me there was none, which is not ok, oh and their ONLY option for me as a means to “fixing” my symptoms and how much worse they are now, after these injections, is to GET THE SAME EXACT THING DONE TO ME AGAIN!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and this doctor. I continue to try to get copies of my medical records, report from this procedure, and images that were supposed to be taken during it and they refuse to provide me with it. I have spoken to THREE different people, emailed them with their own form completed, and sent a message on their website and STILL nothing. I need these in order to try to find a doctor who may actually be able to help me. **update— I finally was told I would be getting a disk or jpeg files of the flouroscopic images, by his MA Tom. He told me they had all of my files and images and that I would be able to pick it up the following day. Then, with no explanation as to what happened or changed, I received an email from Tom stating that they do not have the flouroscopic images for me or a report of findings. That is all I was told. I have tried to get an answer as to why? What happened to the images? Why am I not allowed to have my own imaging? He told m, in writing, that they had it all and would be making a copy for me. I continue to try to get an answer, but the lack of response (about it two weeks now) just leaves me feeling that they are hiding something on those images. What other explanation could there be if they will not tell me why? ??

Wonderful doctor. Patient and authentic. Always treats my pains successfully.
Dr Richman has been my dr for close to 20 years. He has always been professional as well as truly caring. I highly recommend Dr Richman
Been seeing Dr. Eichmann for over 6 years. Always accessible. Easy to communicate with.
Dr. Richman is always great and professional. I was in a car accident and in such pain and he helped me get back to a normal life with treatment. I’ve been going to this practice for over 30 years. He takes the time while he’s with you and asks how your really feeling. Doesn’t choose pain pills but treatment which is the right way! Great doctor!
Dr. Richmam is very nice, excellent bedside manor, has an interest in his patients well being. I feel comfortable in his care.
Dr. Richman is a miracle worker, an extraordinary anesthesiologist, caring, kind person with a great “bedside manner.” I was experiencing excruciating pain for over five weeks in left side groin, hip, knee, and ankle caused from an issue with lumbar 3. The pain continued to worsen each day. Dr. Richman reviewed my file, listened, asked questions and suggested an epidural on left side of lumbar 3. The epidural relieved most of the pain instantly. I walked in with a cane, walked out holding the cane. During the procedure Dr. Richman and Tom his P.A. made me feel comfortable. Explaining each step plus both were humorous which kept my mind off the epidural. The procedure is uncomfortable, however I was in very capable and caring hands which made the procedure bearable and truly worthwhile. I highly recommend Dr. Richman, Tom and staff without any reservations.
Dr. Richman is not the real issue so to speak of but his office staff is. Went to see Dr. to get get an epidural. According to him his office staff would be in touch. OK , 3 days later I call after not hearing from anybody. Mind you they had all my paper work ( insurance info and took my deductible real quick too ) Spoke to a person name Dawn. Quite frankly, she was clueless. Was transfered to Tom. Tom has a good line of sh*t too. Tom explained to me my insurance company was dragging their feet. Did my homework insurance company never received it in the first place. 2 days later I call Dr office again spoke to Dawn again same response. No clearances yet from insurance company. Called insurance company up again same song and dance no paper work. Now its 11 days later . Long story short Dr office finally admitted they DID NOT file work until 6 days after initial meeting. Very sad. To add insult to injury no pun intended. I called today and told them I wanted my deductible back. (Not the money but the principle of this situation) . Tom had the auspicious audacity and said we can "Fit" you in today for the epidural. I don't think so. Went yesterday to another pain management Dr. Getting it done tomorrow. In closure I am sure Dr Richman is a quality Dr. But his office staff is bold face liars and completely incompetent .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
