Dr Emerick is absolutely wonderful. I have been his client for the past 8 years. The office though is not very organized. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. You are placed on a queue but it is never your turn. I made an appointment some time ago while I was at work. I lost the sticky note but recalled the date. I called for three hours just to verify the time, no one answered. I drove there only to be told I am half an hour late and can't be seen. All my other doctor's offices sends out a text message the day before as a reminder, they do not and if you call they never answer. I hate to think I need to leave this provider because of customer service issues.

Doctor Emerick is the best he is my OB and delivered both my kids. Amazing doctor and I'm grateful for him. He is patient, listens and answers all questions.

Dr. Emerick really cares about his patients. He tries his best to help the patient with alternative measures before having to directly face major surgery. The office is very professional, clean and friendly. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Emerick and his staff.

Dr. Emerick was my OB a year ago when I was pregnant with my first baby. He seemed fine when I would go in for checkups during my pregnancy but when I would go in one appointment he would prescribe me a medication and when I would go again for my next appointment and I would tell him that I had the same symptoms he would prescribe me the same medication again, like if he forgot that he had already prescribed me that medication. So I would have to remind him what he had gave me. Every appointment I felt like he didn't know who I was during my whole pregnancy. I felt like he would treat me like if I was a new patient every visit, he would forget everything he would talk to me about in every visit and I would have to remind him. But I thought "oh maybe its just me" so I let it go. Every appointment I would go to he would tell me to give birth at palms west but I would explain to him that I wanted to give birth at a different hospital. (which I explained to him many times and he agreed, but again I think he forgot. and btw he also goes to this different hospital, he just wanted me from day one to go to palms west.) so to make a long story short this has been bothering me for a while now and I didn't know if I should write this review or not but the day I gave birth he called the nurse and told them to shut off me epidural completely. Mind you I had requested my epidural when I was 3cm and he wanted to shut it off when I got to 10cm. When they shut it off, you can imagine how much pain I was in. Till this day I don't know why he told them to shut it off, because I could still feel my legs and I still hadn't even practiced pushing so its not like something was going on, it was literally so expected. He took FOREVER to get there when the baby was almost out. The nurses were running back and fourth out of the room trying to see how far he was because my baby was almost out. They were trying to call the OB on call to see if he can make it before him. When he got there he was taking his time. I was SCREAMING in pain. Mind you I was so confused as to why they had taken off the epidural. and to end the story off he had pulled the placenta from inside of me so guess what? when I was four days post partum I had to rush to the hospital because the biggest piece of placenta was left inside of me. It was a horrible experience overall and I would not wish it on anyone. The girls in the office were very sweet though. so sad that I will not be able to give birth to my next kids with the same OB. I just wanted to share my story because my sister gave birth also in the same hospital and her epidural was not shut off and she gave birth perfectly and mine took a huge turn and till this day I still don't understand why...
