List of Howell Goldfarb's Reviews
Dr. Goldfarb was very gentle when I got my shots in my back and each time he would tell me ahead of time, that I was going to get a stick, and then whenever he was going through release the medication. Everything was quick and organized.
I have been calling this office for the past 6 months regarding an error in their billing. I have left several messages as well as text messages with NO REPLY! My next call will be to the Medical Board and BBB as they are not responsible enough to return my phone call.
I’m copying and pasting this review so I don’t spend more time than necessary on this less than pleasant experience. I am almost 70 years old. I been dealing with chronic pain since 2000. Surgery not an option for any of it. In 2005 I was referred to Comprehensive Pain Care for breakthrough pain my doctor couldn't treat. An MRI was done followed by injections. The whole process wasn’t awful and it relieved my pain. Late in 2022 I went to Dr. Goldfarb again for breakthrough pain. A MRI was ordered. The pain resolved on its own so treatment wasn’t needed. In 2023 I was going to transfer to Comprehensive Pain Care due to previous contact. At my appointment I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. Then I was seen by a PA who consulted with Dr. Goldfarb about my situation. She told me he said they don’t prescribe pain patches with as high of a dosage as I was on (since 2005). They had my medical records from 2005 and 2022 confirming my condition. Another appointment was made to give them time to consult with my current doctor. I told them the appointment was past the expiration date on my meds and I couldn't go without my medication without suffering serious consequences. I was told Dr. Goldfarb would be out of the office any earlier. Other arrangements were not even suggested. Dr. G was still physically in the office and not even consulted with. I was kind of left hanging. I did find another place that gave me an appointment quickly and the doctor gave me a prescription to last until they could get my records. I was generous with the 2 stars on the review because they do have one redeeming quality in an employee named Rey. He handles appointment scheduling and phone traffic among other duties. He is a bright star in their otherwise gloomy existence. He always goes above and beyond while dealing with patients.

Thank heavens places still exist that treat you with respect, dignity, and compassion. I was generous with the 2 star review because of the one redeeming quality they have. Dr Goldfarb and his staff are remarkable. I have been a patient for over 3 years and the relief I have gotten for the pain in my back has changed my life. I highly recommend them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
