This was the most disappointing healthcare experience I've ever had! I was referred to Glick Skin Institute by the manufacturer of the Xtrac device to treat psoriasis. My consultation visit was with Dr. Milman who sat a few feet away from me and never even touched me to examine my skin. She was totally discouraging about the Xtrac treatment and kept trying to push biologic treatments despite me saying I could not take them due to immune system issues. While I was there I asked her to examine an odd looking skin issue on the back of my leg. Again, she seemed bothered, maybe because she would have to put on gloves and actually touch me, but she did examine it and said it needed to be biopsied. A week later she called me to advise that it was an early Melanoma and needed to be surgically removed. She then handed my call over to the assistant without explanation of the type of melanoma or what I could expect. She just gave me the results in a cold manner.

Dr. Milman was very personable. She answered all of my questions and gave me options. She was very professional and had a great bedside manner. She seemed genuinely concerned about my feelings and I did not feel rushed.
