I highly recomend dr. Ortega. I had shoulder surgery. Even though I am 78 and my bones are thin my surgery was excellent and I feel great.

I will not go back to this office because they are not following the covid19 protocol. The waiting area is very small and too many patients waiting. No temperature was taken. Everyone was wearing mask and hand sanitizer available but just too much closeness. I was not comfortable and mad at myself for not just leaving. The doctor did all the talking was not interested in what I had to say. He never went over xray with me.

Dr. Ortega’s office is one of the worst offices I have ever dealt with. There is Never anyone to answer the phone they will keep you on hold for 30 minutes. If you leave a message they may get back to you in 34 days. They do not help with getting referrals they will send a 91 year old woman home because the referral is missing rather than call her primary doctor. Also in this pandemic they are still seeing patients and are asking them to come on a mask and gloves. Where is a 91 year old going to get these?

Dr. Ortega has serious weight bias. He never touched my knee looked at 1 xray and said my pain was 100% due to my weight even though I reported that I fell which caused the injury.

Dr. Ortega was so quick to send me out of the room. I’ve been in pain for a while and he told me it wasn’t a ligament so I was good. I went to a different doctor and it turns out I have a torn meniscus. I felt like a number. I had so many questions and he didn’t care to answer any of them. I was also over charged by $100 and getting that fixed took a long time because they kept telling me to call back.

On Nov 09 2018 I had an appointment with Dr. Jose Ortega at 1145am office at his Palm Beach due to traffic problems I arrived 10 minutes late. He did wait for me even though previous appointments I waited 12hr to 40 minutes to be called in. I drive all the way from Delray Beach. I found this behavior unprofessional and careless. Nobody from his office called me to let me know theyre closing the office for lunch. Furthermore why give and appointment close to lunch time.

The main problem an disappointment I have is there Diagnostic Imaging Division (same group) in my opinion the staff needs several hours of customer service skills training. The Staff at Dr. Ortega’s Office was great

Great Doctor he will go into full details on the problem. He send me to do all kind of test, and Physical Therapy. Surgery was my last resort after all other Option fail. Staff are very professional on handling any issues.

Dr. Ortega has been my orthopedic doctor for the last 5 years. Maturity changes lend to changes in bones. Dr. Ortega treated me for knee pain elbow pain and toe pain. Its noted that his specialty is knee and shoulder. Hes great with everything bone. In addition he has a welcoming personality and great patient care attitude.
