Dr. A is not surgery happy, he will try different things first , great bedside manners and helped me with severe L4 and L5 pain, where the nerve was being pressed on. Had surgery yesterday and when I woke up from surgery that pain was gone .Thanks Dr. A you are the best !

I would look for another Doctor before I would go to him. Been waiting a week for him to return my call about my second Opinion I received from another doctor.

My experience with DR A was amazing. I was on vacation when I fell and broke l1 and l4 per the er doctor. He recommended DR A. got an appointment very fast and was operated on the next day. He performed kyphoplasty and I am now 3 months post surgery and doing absolutely great. Nothing but good to say about my experience with him and his staff.

My favorite neurosurgeon. Due to relocation I have not been able to come and see him but you will never find a more driven or caring team then him. He is specialized in everything that pertains to the brain

I initially saw Dr. A because of persistent headaches. We discovered a bilateral subdural hematoma and I was treated for that. When my symptoms didn't resolve satisfactorily, Dr. A was relentless in his efforts to determine the cause. After significant research and consultations with colleagues he discovered that spinal fluid leaks were the ultimate cause of the subdural, which is extremely rare and often misdiagnosed. I had a procedure to plug up the leaks and three weeks post procedure, I am almost like new. After reading more about my condition, I learned that it is not uncommon for my condition to go misdiagnosed, sometimes for years. With Dr. A, he figured out and treated the cause within a couple of weeks. I am eternally grateful that Dr. A was on my case. He's the best!

Dr. A was a top professional who is a perfectionist. He replaced 2 discs in my fiancés neck that were ruptured with Kevlar movable discs instead of fusing and she went from lots of pain and arm numbing to Pain Free. He has the credentials; Nuerology and PhD in Cellular development. Very pleasant and competent doctor.

In September 2007 Dr. A in an emergency operation for dual sub dural hemotomas removed two ads of my skull to stop my brain bleeds. He directed my recovery and I am 100% better. I da lost my speech, my walking, and did not have use of my hands. He literally saved my life. At 87 years old I can't thank him enough for giving me 15 years of good life that I feared would have ended back then.

Horrible experience. His staff is inconsiderate and non-communicative. After 6 weeks (and over 40 messages) with no response I've given up on him and I'm changing Doctors.

He was an amazing Dr. Who did not jump to “surgery” when I had a tumor on my spine. We went through several other options before moving onto the procedure. He was excellent.

Dr. A is a brilliant doctor. However, his office is a nightmare. Communication is next to impossible. I leave messages and no one calls me back. Even when it is urgent. He is the doctor of choice for all the local doctors and nurses in the area when we need a good neurosurgeon, (I am an RN) but he really needs to re evaluate his choice of staff and train them that it is imperative to return messages especially when you are dealing with someone's spine and spinal cord.
