I went to this pediatric center today with my sister because my niece had a appointment today and this front desk lady she had glasses on was VERY RUDE ! she was telling my sister that her insurance didn’t work on my niece because her name wasn’t on her insurance card and she was just born on Saturday ! and if baby was not her insurance she would have to pay $200 ! But my sister had added my niece when she was born ! I don’t know why she made it a big deal
TPC has been part of my family for 17 years now. With two boys, we've had our fair share of sick visits, healthy yearly visits, and follow up visits. Their attention and care has always being top notch. In 17 years, I've obviously gotten closer to and prefer certain doctors to see my boys (Dr. Flores, Dr. Ali, Dr. McGregor and Dr. Pilato are definitely my favorite) but we've yet to have had a bad experience with the rest of the doctors we've seen throughout the years. Their office staff are amazing, always going the extra mile and providing me with all my requests for paperwork, forms, and appointments in an orderly and timely manner. Our last visit was just two days ago. My youngest is asthmatic and with the recent change of weather, his asthma has flared quite a bit. I needed a refill for an inhaler and was asked to bring him in for a follow up. Our appointment was at 4:20 pm, made it in by 3:50, saw the doctor and were on our way home by 4:30. I can't imagine going anywhere else or having my children seen by any other team of doctors.
This used to be a great office. I used to be a patient here years ago. When I had kids I wanted them to see the same doctor I used to when I was little. I have no complaints about Dr. Shamaskin but I do have complaints about their staff and how the office is ran. You can never get ahold of anyone at the front desk. When you leave a message don’t expect a call back. Need your kids physical and shot records for school? Well don’t expect to get those on time. I have been calling for almost 2 weeks for records and either no one answers or they tell me to call back to check. Keep calling and still don’t have records ready. The people who work the front are very rude. They will hang up on you after being on hood for over 15 mins. I have two stars only because I love Dr Shamaskin. She’s very informative and cares about your child.
My daughter is 1 1/2 years old and we’ve sadly had a terrible experience with this office. When my daughter has been sick we’ve only been offered to be seen over a video phone call, told she cannot be seen in office. They cannot check her lungs, her ears etc to be able to diagnose why she is sick with a high fever when done over the phone. This past video call they had no idea my poor 20 pound child had an ear infection and bronchitis. Scheduling a follow up 2 weeks later with improper meds given due to not knowing she had an ear infection and bronchitis. A complete was of my time and dangerous for my daughter who was running a fever due to the ear infection. I had to take her elsewhere to find this out. The office still expects to be paid of course even while admitting it is an issue they did not assist us properly on the video call. It took me complaining to the office manager to find out they do schedule a few appointments here and there for sick patients at specific times which was never offered to me in the nearly 2 years in December I’ve been taking my daughter here. I will not be back and I do not find the office staff here to be professional unfortunately. Where you take your children is of high importance especially when they are sick ….
Me gusta la atención de los doctores, pero es pésima la recepción tardan mucho para contestar llamadas y aveces dejan en espera asta 15 a 20 minutos
Dr Meyers is the best!!! She always takes care of my children and asks about the others even if they are not there. She also uses the portal to send questions we may have forgotten to ask during our visit. We have been going to The Pediatric Center since 2013, and visit both Wellington office and the Boynton office. Dr. Shamaskin, Dr McGregor, & Dr Ali are all super awesome as well. We have 3 children now and we will follow these doctors if they ever left.

I was a recent employee for the Wellington location. I lasted 1 month and a half and got let go VIA TEXT MESSAGE on the same day my grandmother passed from cancer. I never got written up, never got an type of verbal warnings but I made it a point to let the office manager, Schuyler know about my situation during my interview to make it clear that there may be a point where i won’t make it in one day. She told me she was sorry and understood. Apparently not, every missed day was covered by a doctors note, a call/text message to her so she can find coverage with time. I tried to see past the negative working with her, but to text me while grieving with no explanation in front of family, I couldn’t believe this was happening. She is not suited for the position she is in, she would tell me to “use my head” and other outrageous statements that an office manager should not dare say. She’s a joke, she’s heartless, everything everyone has told me about her turned out to be exactly true. I’m sorry for the good people that work there, they deserve a better leader, a leader with heart. If i could give this office a negative score, i would. best of luck to the girls i shared laughs with, the girls who helped me. i’m grateful for you ladies. Schuyler, learn people skills maybe then you wouldn't be so miserable. it’s your fault your locations have so much turn over, your “trainers” should put down their phones and actually TRAIN as opposed to letting the newer girls do all the work.
I came in to ask for information about the office since i am currently looking for a pediatric doctor for my new born. the front desk girl, i can not remember her name but she had the cutest glasses, was so incredibly helpful. i saw she had a full waiting room and it was hectic, as a office usually is, but she made it a point to calmly explain everything i needed to know about registering and calling to set up an appointment. her welcoming smile when i first came to her window was like a sign that this office is the office for my baby. although she wasn’t able to give me a tour, she gave me a list of all the doctors names and their different locations. i haven’t even made an appointment yet and i can’t wait to come back and converse with her!
I always have a great experience with Monique the MA. she’s very helpful with all the questions I have , doctors notes , and rescheduling appointments. The office is very clean when I go. I don’t have to wait a long time in the waiting room. Monique is very sweet and patient. She goes above and beyond!!!! I love that office so much because of her and Dr. Mc Gregor!!!! Definitely recommend them at the Wellington office !!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
