my friend went into hospital by ambulance at 3:30am. from that time on no food or water. by 5 pm we asked when she would get water and food. Dr put on chart nothing allowed. I asked why? the Dr told her nothing wrong? Dr won't release her,why? I feel they are draining her insurance if nothing is wrong. they requiring different ports to draw blood from different departments. urine that was drawn by catheter sat on counter all day. unsanitary! I feel the hospital does not follow their motto posted all over web. If I go to room tonight and owing has changed I calling head of hospital, news media. I have videos!

If I ever have to go to the hospital and I have a choice...Advent Health Wesley Chapel is the ONLY place we will ever go. I went to the ER with chest pains and shortness of breath. Was admitted based on quite a few findings from the various scans and bloodwork. From ER to admission, from techs, to nurses and doctors. I was treated with so much compassion it almost didn't feel real. I've been put through hell with others. I had a difficult time accepting that they are just genuinely good people who care about their patients. Unlike UHC. My deductible was met prior to the ER visit, but UHC denied the claim because THEY deemed it medically unnecessary for me to be admitted. You should have seen my face with my $100,000 bill. Fighting that. That aside, I have to mention Shannon, their Lung Navigator. She called me shortly after being discharged. To talk about the findings/nodules in/on my lungs. She was sweet, patient, thorough and she helped facilitate the scheduling of that appointment. I had to get a special blood test done and Shannon got me in first thing in the morning so I wasn't late for my nerve block appointment. She's amazing, I called her on arrival, she met me in the lobby, took me to her office and explained everything and then administered the super cool way to draw blood for this test. I ended up being admitted into the oncology ward because I had colon cancer The best was the nurses that they had on staff one nurse in particular Stephanie in oncology was absolutely amazing, caring, and the best nurse I've ever encountered and the 12 times I've been hospitalized due to all my illnesses. I am lucky to be almost 100% cancer, free and no problems except for when I got out of bed one day and couldn't walk, not great when you're a single parent and own a business she went above and beyond, and never hesitated to come in my room and check on me. Every time she made rounds, which was about every 45 minutes. This individual should definitely get a raise or the best praise that the hospital offers. The best another man Joseph was a tech, and he was very thorough, wonderfully pleasant and very professional. He always asked because he was a man if he could assist me and waited for my response. Very considerate. I will always come to this hospital no matter where I am in Tampa. I would give six stars if I could ..amazing the best care ever

Yes probably not; Connected to legacy -I will NEVER go back to these Advent hospitals. EVER.. blew my veins, played with my body. And put me in this undercover watch room. I refuse to be attended by another advent hospital linked to solar panels. Worse than the churches.

I had an open myomectomy in early August. I can’t say enough how wonderful my experience was. All the staff members who worked with me were so sweet!! Anesthesia (both MD and CRNA), MD’s, RN’s (pre-op, OR, pacu, & the surgical unit- Christine on nights was awesome getting me up and moving for the first time), PCT’s, phlebotomy, dietary, environmental services, case management, and mobile equipment. They were so caring and attentive to all my needs. This was my first major surgery and it was very intimidating. Advent Wesley Chapel made it such a smooth process and I am recovering well.
