List of Aliya Rathore's Reviews
This is a review of the office staff, who wouldn't even let my husband see the Dr. We updated our PCP with our insurance company, but hadn't yet received our new cards with the new Dr.s name on them. The receptionist just said "You have to go to the Dr on your card," without even checking with the insurance company. I guess we will be changing our PCP provider AGAIN so we don't have to deal with this nonsense.
Dont disagree with this doctor during your appt. She has her "oppinion" regarding your health. She gets an attitude real quick. Staff too
I've been going to Dr. Rathore since 2007 and I absolutely love her! I've even referred friends to her and one went and loved her too! The other two friends didn't want to make the drive. One lives in Tampa and one lives in Valrico. I first came across Dr. Rathore when I lived in Wesley Chapel in the apartments just across the street there. I have kept her as my doctor, because I appreciate her. I've read the reviews online And I've never had those experiences with her. I had a random dry cough for forever and she was like, it's reflux. Take omeprazole and you'll be good. I was little doubtful, but I did what I was told and the cough went away. I would never have connected those dots. Throughout the years, I've gone for all my checkups, and I've gone to the other doctor in the office for other items as well, and I've always had a great experience. I think people are more likely to criticize and provide negative reviews, so I wanted to provide a positive review. Because I really will keep her as my doctor for as long as I can. I maintained visits with her while living in Hudson, Tampa, Wesley chapel again, and now Valrico. She is worth the 40 minute drive for me. She has my history and she reviews it every time I go into the office. And half the time I don't even feel like she reviews it, I feel like she just knows me. And that's what I really appreciate. I've been going to her for so long, and only once or twice a year usually, but she always knows what's going on. I had some health issues in 2020 and I was able to do virtual visits to share information and talk about next steps. I've even had her personally call me back when I call the doctor's office asking various questions. And I like that. I like knowing that my doctor is supporting me. Not just her staff. So I would give her 10 stars out of 10 if I could. But I will settle with five stars that Google allows. Established a relationship with her and you won't be disappointed.
Amazing! I have been seeing her for years, as well as my mom, and friends. She is like a therapist, mother, doctor, motivational speaker all in one. She really digs deep on what other issues can be going on and cares so much. I absolutely love her!
SADLY THE DOCTOR DOESN'T LISTEN AND YOU ARE LEFT DOCTORING YOURSELF. NEVER COMING BACK!!
Dr.Rathore has been my primary care physician for years and normally I see her for standard yearly check ups. She is always kind, attentive, and offered me great advice as I went through my young adult years. More recently I had some health concerns arise. Although my condition has been a painful and scary experience I am extremely grateful for the amazing support and care that I am receiving from Dr.Rathore and her office. I would 100% reccomend her to anyone searching for a primary care doctor!
When my primary care doctor closed her private practice I had no choice but to search for new doctor since I didn't want to get into chain and be in private practice. My first appointment was also a sick appointment and I needed someone to see me as my condition wasn't improving on its own. When I called as a new patient and explained my situation, I was able to get in to see doctor the next day which I was very impressed and happy about. It all changed at next day appointment when doctor brushed off my concerns and questions and instead offered to look at my skin instead as they also offering dermatology services!!! That was not even close to the reason I went there. I was not impressed by bed side manners and doctor Aliya attention. I felt rushed. Needless to say I never returned to that practice and really cannot recommend this dr. to anyone else.
This was the best experience I’ve had at a doctor’s office in a long time! The staff and Doctor Rathore were all so kind and welcoming. They were attentive, and empathetic and made me feel like they really cared about my wellbeing. I loved my experience here and I cannot recommend them enough!
I was calling to make an appointment as a new patient but the receptionist put me on hold for over 5 min. I hung up and called back twice and there was no answer. Very unprofessional. Major Red flags I will not establish as a new patient. Get better staff.
Overall, she is very thorough, kind, and takes the time to sit down and speak with you (the patient). What I like most about this office is that they do in house labs. This was the main reason I choose to go here. It is nice to not have to wait to do blood work if needed. My visit was pleasant and I would recommend Dr. Rathore for a primary doctor. UPDATED REVIEW: I am updating my review as of 10/30/18. I saw Dr. Rathore a few times since my initial review. I still stand firm that it’s a nice to have in house labs and that she does spend a decent amount of time with the patient. I soon realized that the time spent doesn’t mean much if the Doctor does not listen to the patient. She brushed off all of my concerns with the response “your young”. As if just being young means you are immune to any type of health issues. I had multiple concerns and after two devastating accidents (one being a motorcycle accident) I know that some issues I experience are not just in my head and will not just go away on there own because I’m young. One reason for my recent visit was due to 2 months of shoulder pain that was steadily increasing. She brushed it off and told me to wait 6 months, it’ll heel by than. I asked if I could have an MRI so we can find out the cause of my shoulder pain and she dismissed it by saying my insurance would not cover it. After going back and forth with her she finally wrote me a prescription for an MRI, guess what? They covered 100% of it. I’ve worked for Doctors in the past and not a single one ever dealt with insurance, her office may be different but how can you dismiss me and tell me my insurance won’t cover it with out even checking? I got my MRI results and I am changing Doctors to have someone else look at it for me and will continue to seek help elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
