I recently saw this doctor, as I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome and have been highly disappointed by the "traditional" medicine approach. I was so impressed by her approach to managing my hEDS, as well as her knowledge. I could tell that she genuinely cared for me as a patient and felt that she wanted to help me heal, rather than just throw pills at my symptoms and see what sticks. I feel better informed on how to manage my illness and also received a detailed treatment plan for next steps to take. I feel confident and hopeful for my health for the first time in a long time!

I would give her 100 stars!!! Dr. Fuentes-Valdes is absolutely amazing. I feel blessed to have found her. For the first time in over 20 years I actually felt like a person, not a number. She is very detailed and actually listens. The communication has been outstanding. Not only is she highly intelligent, she is extremely patient and caring. Even my primary doctor expressed on how impressed she was with the extensive lab work that Dr. Fuentes-Valdes ordered for me. In less than 4 months, with her recommendations, my lab results have greatly improved. She is a rare find and definitely goes above and beyond! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend her!!!!!

Dr Fuentes-Valdes is an exceptional integrative medical doctor. I’ve found that her vast knowledge of both western/traditional medicine plus her knowledge in functional medicine and mind/body connection has contributed to my good health. Her excellent doctor-patient communication skills really make it a good experience each time I’ve seen her. I’ve been very pleased having her as my doctor.

Let me start with this has already been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have struggled with female issues since I was very young and decided to try a doctor that used a functional medicine approach. It turned out to be a lifesaver, and she was great for several years. However, lately I have been facing new issues and was looking for a new approach to help my issues. Dr. Johanna Fuentes-Valdes has been amazing from the second I requested a consultation and shared my health with her. I love every part of how she runs her practice. The incorporation of technology for patients to have access to appointment scheduling, viewing upcoming visits and filling out medical questionnaires. I love that there is a guaranteed amount of time I get with her. She is so full of knowledge. She was so thorough with every single issue and question I had. Just in my first visit, we created an action plan for me. I didn't walk out wondering, I walked out more confident. I am so excited to start this healing journey with her and to feel better. I am very confident in her knowledge, and loved her caring nature. If you are struggling as a female, and need some guidance on where to start I absolutely suggest you make an appointment with her.

Dr. Valdes is a caring person who takes time with you and listens to what you say about your symptoms and issues. She treats the whole person and looks at all aspects of your life that can be affecting your health. Not only is she is very knowledgeable but also gifted in her sense of health and wellness for the individual. I highly recommend her.

Dr Johanna is wonderful and absolutely amazing. I wanted a functional medicine doctor who looked holistically at my health needs, provided the opportunity to discuss how to treat root causes, and wasn’t pushing a product line. I have had two visits with Dr. Fuentes. I have found her to be compassionate, intelligent, thoughtful and a very caring physician. She really listens to all your concerns and takes a very thorough health history. She combines conventional medicine, Eastern medicine nutrition and spirituality in your care.
