Best eye doctor!!!

I had a (medically rather than cosmetically required ) blepharoplasty 3 months ago & found Dr Small to be hugely professional, approachable & she did also a great job! Surgery was almost a stress free experience with no issues and very little discomfort afterwards. I still had some residual dry eye problems & she suggested punctual plugs, at first suggesting that I try the dissolvable ones & then fitting the long term ones. As someone who has been unable to wake up or drive without using eye drops for years, I am enormously thankful to have found a doctor who used multiple approaches to give me a successful result rather than maintenance therapy with more and more eye drops & ointments.

Worst office experience ever. I arrived on time and proceeded to wait, indoors, during Covid-19, and wait and wait. After 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist to check and see why I was still waiting. She did check and told me they were waiting on a tech and I would be next. Another 15 minutes goes by (I'm now at 45 minutes in that waiting room), and the tech does come out AND CALLS SOMEONE ELSE. I told the front desk that I had been waiting 45 minutes, this was ridiculous treatment, they had no respect for their patient's time and I was leaving. I had visited this office the year prior and was not happy with the "processing of patients" that included moving people from room to room to room for a variety of tests while you waited for the doctor. Also, wasn't thrilled with the doctor's hurried manner. I only returned because my vision got much worse and I figured because of the pandemic, they'd be scheduling better. Nope. I will not be back.

Dr Small is a very caring doctor. She takes time with her patient and answers all questions. She is the one who finally diagnosed me with temporal arteritis after years of going to different doctors with no answers. She took actions right away. Called me herself twice and called my pcp twice as well to get me the help i needed. I will be forever grateful to her for listening and saving my eye sight.

Dr. Small was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me explaining my condition and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good eye doctor.
