I started seeing Dr. Bowarshi about six months ago for my depression. His supportive demeanor and thorough understanding of mental health really set him apart. Even though I drive from Lutz, it’s more than worth it. I’ve never felt more in control of my life!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bowarshi. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and tailored a treatment plan just for me. The Spravato treatment was a game changer, and I’m so thankful for his expertise!

I dealt with terrible SSRI withdrawal effects because this doctor couldn’t care less about my situation. He prescribed me Lexapro through telehealth, but when I could not make it to an in person appointment, completely refused to see me at all or refill my prescription. What kind of doctor refuses to follow-up with their patient? Not to mention, Alexis and Ava (front desk receptionists) were incredibly rude on the phone, and laughed at me while I was having a panic attack. I was in a stressful situation and they definitely made it worse. There are so many doctors in the Tampa Bay Area. My recommendation is to go any where else.

I had the privilege of receiving TMS treatment at Dr. Bowarshi’s clinic, and I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received—especially from Gaby. She was there for every single session, not only to set up the TMS machine but to genuinely check in with me, listen, and offer support. Gaby brings a warmth and compassion to the process that made a huge difference in my healing. Her presence created a safe, calming space where I felt seen and heard. Her knowledge, kindness, and intuitive understanding of what I needed each day helped lessen my suffering and gently encouraged moments of peace and even joy. Dr. Bowarshi runs a wonderful clinic, and the entire experience was made exponentially better because of Gaby. She is truly a gift to anyone going through TMS.

It is immediately apparent how intelligent Dr. Bowarshi is. He was quite thorough in assessing me for TMS treatment. I drive almost 2.5 hours round-trip to go to his clinic for treatment and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was looking for a psychiatrist too, outside of TMS, and I was very happy when he said he would take over my med management.

Dr Bowarshi was excellent explaining my treatment. He was very engaging so I didn't feel nervous and forget my questions. If you are hesitant in seeking help, just make one appointment to meet with him.
