MIchelle Ayazo's Online Review Report Card

She's absolutely the best primary care doctor I have ever had. Dr. Ayazo listens to you, gets to know you, and truly cares. I am glad to see that she has an NP helping her out, which is only going to make it easier to have her as my doctor. Her NP is thoughtful, and Dr. Ayazo still was there to review results with me, and make sure all my concerns were addressed. I know I am in good hands with her. Highly highly recommend!

SUPER UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED with my experience after today's visit!!! Finally, I thought that I had found a Spanish speaking primary care physician my mom loved and agreed to follow up with. Dr. Ayazo is absolutely amazing, caring, she listens to her patients, and takes the time needed during the visit. After a few visits this year, we finally made it to just a 6 months follow up. We exit the exam room and Dr. goes into her office. We walk up to the checkout and the lady tells us that our next appointment will be with the Nurse Practioner (we've never even met). So, I politely let the lady know that we want to continue our care with Dr. Ayazo. She then informs us that this is the Dr.'s new policy and basically we are forced to see the nurse practioner in between visits. So, I asked her if I can speak with the Dr. and she hesitated. Then, gets up and goes and tells another employee (I assume a supervisor), yet she comes back and tells me that the Dr. is "busy" (which is a lie). I tell her okay that we will wait and we went to sit in the waiting room. Shortly after, the other employee comes over and regurgitated what the checkout lady just told me. She also added that even if we are on Dr. Ayazo's schedule that day, we will have to see the nurse practioner if the Dr. is busy. What kind of non sense is this?! In my 15 years working in healthcare, I've never heard of such a thing!! So, I explained to this employee that my mom needs a Dr. who speaks Spanish (which is why we came here to begin with), and we also want the continuity of care with the Dr. my mom just established care with. The employee was dismissive and basically gave me the "if you don't like it you can leave" run around. At this point, I'm furious and I had my mom sign a release of records. As a case manager, this makes me realize why so many people don't follow up with their doctors outpatient and end up in and out the hospital. So do yourself a favor and don't bother coming here if you speak spanish or like to see your specific Dr. !!!! Funny thing is that I can bet that these are the same people that are demanding for a specific pediatrician to see their child. Well guess what, same goes for my mom!!! It amazes me the lack of care and professionalism there is nowadays especially in healthcare. Patients are just numbers to meet a quota and dollar signs instead of people!! Really sickening! Update 7/28/2023 11:45am Just spoke to the manager and my review stands just as their policy stands.

Que lastima que hace un año atras la doctora Michelle Ayazo era la mejor que habia tenido hasta el momento lastimosamente hoy no puedo opinar asi desde el mes de marzo estoy intentando tener una cita con mi doctora principal siempre me la cancelan o ahora me dicen que virtual tengo en este momento bronquitis aguda y llamó para ver a mi doctora principal para ver que paso a seguir si me envia a un pulmonologo o que y saben me dan una cita virtual yo me pregunto como ella va a poder oscultar y ver como estan mis pulmones o mi garganta la vez pasada fue igual no definitivamente necesito un buen doctor que este para mi no uno que solo quiera generar dinero y llenandoce de paciente y dando un pésimo servicio

Dr. Ayazo is hands down the best family medicine doctor I have ever been to, she cares about her patients, and goes beyond the extra mile each and every time I come to the office which is also evident in her staff, and Stacey simply makes my day with her welcoming smile and talks to me with care like family. I will definitely spread the word to let anyone know that Dr. Ayazo is an amazing doctor, and I am proud to say that she is my doctor forever.

Dr. Ayazo is wonderful!! Had a great new patient appointment. She took the time to answer all questions. Very down to earth and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I left the practice due to unprofessionalism by the front office manager at the Wiregrass (edit: Watergrass/Epperson) location. Patient care is a process from start to finish. Loved the physician, but manager was shockingly dismissive and rude. Edited review to reflect 2 stars instead of 4 after I was informed I was dropped as a patient. This was apparently due to referring to the office manager as rude. Other patients in the community were dropped as well for sharing the same feelings. I would never feel safe again at this office given the total disregard for patient/doctor care and communication.

Dr. Ayazo has been terrific. She has provided advice and care relative to a variety of issues. She takes time to listen and discuss treatment options with me. My health and wellness has improved greatly since I started working with her.

Dr. Ayazo is amazing! She is very caring and provides the time to make sure all my concerns are addressed, making me feel that I am in good hands. By far she is the best doctor I have had in the US. Moving into the Bay Area with all the new residential construction, many times I found myself literally waiting up to 2 hours in an exam room waiting for a NP, not even a doctor, who would come and speak is if she was in an auction. Hardly allowing me to speak, and leaving the room in less than 3 minutes. Very frustrating to go home thinking I was back to 0. In addition to being a great and caring doctor, Dr Ayazo has a really well elaborated weight loss program that is easy to understand, manage, and afford. I am proud to say that in almost 3 months, I have lost more than 20lb!!! After trying everything for at least 2 years. Nothing had worked. I would only loose couple of pounds in months, just to soon after gain them back, and gain even more. Now here is the big perk! She is bilingual! 100 % fluent in Spanish, which is very important to a growing community with a diverse variety of Hispanic cultures and accents.
