Dr Khan is a genius. He figured out 2 things my cancer hospital missed. He saved my leg from being amputated. He's my hero.

No bedside manner, that may be a good thing he likes himself a lot and is rather arrogant. While rounding he was in my hospital room for all of 2 minutes. I suffered greatly from his use of multiple antibiotics. I elected to go with my primary physician for treatment. I have more faith in him than this specialist. Choose wisely!

I've been dealing with a recurring painful bacterial infection on my foot for months and finally got referred to an infectious disease doctor. Just got off a course of antibiotics when I drove an hour and a half to see him and the infectious disease doctor I saw in the Wesley Chapel office, Dr. Khan, told me to try neosporin. I left very disheartened and with $60 out of my pocket for that advice. Needless to say, infection came back a month later. Called his office. They called in doxycycline and on my lab it clearly states that my bacteria detected a resistance to doxycline. I called the office to read my lab to the nurse (which they have) to see why the doctor would want to try that when there are other antibiotics with a 90 percent or greater effectiveness in healing (according to my report). Still waiting to hear back from the office as my foot continues to swell. Not the experience or care or expertise I'd expect from a specialist!!!

I will begin by saying this was my first visit to Dr. Khan's office. I was bowled over by the level of knowledge, expertise, compassion, efficiency and work ethic of the entire staff. Additionally Dr.Khan was the first doctor I have seen in a very long time who took command of my condition immediately. I look forward to working with her and her exceptional staff in the future. Dr khan was the best I was in the hospital for days soon as he got on the case the infection started to subside being from out of state and having this happen to me it was awesome how he helped me had great bedside manor and found a effective course of treatment when 6 other doctors had failed

My mother had a very serious and extended bout with C-dif, which almost killed her. Dr. Khan was extremely attentive and supportive and facilitated a transfer to different hospital, so she could receive treatment that was more effective, but not offered where she was originally being treated. He was compassionate, patient, and made himself very available for questions and consults. We are eternally grateful.

Our experience has been that this office is inept at communicating with patients. My wife is on a six-week course of treatment with IV antibiotics infused at home. As her care giver I want to know what to do, when to do it and -- if that changes -- WHY it changed. Over and over with this office it has been a struggle to get that information. They are pretty good at taking messages ... calling back and explaining things, not so good.
