Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Omari Hodge's Reviews
My experiences with Dr. Omari Hodge has been nothing short of excellent. As my PCP, I’ve noted his unique way of listening while observing. His mannerisms are professional and he treats me with respect and dignity; something that is very important to me. If I have not made an appointment with a Physician he has referred me to, he leaves a message for my online viewing. If I do not respond, he has his assistant call me. I have extensive experience in the medical field, and as as a patient I’ve experienced being hurt by the actions of other Doctors. I can state that I trust Dr. Hodge has my best interest in mind as my Physician.
Dr.Omari Hodge is a knowledgeable medical doctor who cares for both my husband and I. He is professional and has great bedside manner. He listens to my concerns and I do not feel rushed through my visits. I like that he has availability and unlike most doctors these days, he has not pawned me off to other providers in his office. When I make an appt he is available for me. He has a great personality and I trust him and his team with my care. People should learn to be thankful in each situation they are in. In the review below she’s bad mouthing the healthcare team and in the same breath saying she got what she needed ie the referral. The reason primary care doctors give referrals to patients is to have you see someone who specializes in the area that you need. There’s no way the reason you didn’t receive a call back to discuss your results was because you already received a referral for the doctor you need to see about those results. People are always more inclined to leave bad reviews when they don’t get what they want and how they want.
I saw Dr. Hodge last month for pain in my groin. The visit was average at best, typical network doctor that listens to half of what I say and keeps his head buried in his PC. He sent me for an ultrasound, and I got the results a day later. I called his office, and someone (not Dr Hodge) issued the referral that I needed. Even though I had my referral, I still wanted to discuss the results with Dr Hodge. I called and messaged his office THREE times to speak to him he still has not contacted me nearly two months later, although he did message me a WEEK later offering the referral that I no longer needed. No mention of my results and no phone call, I guess that's asking too much. I can't imagine what might be happening to patients who have life threatening conditions. Also, the NA (Willie) listed numerous items on my chart that were no longer true or relevant. I was told 10 days ago by Donna Coleman that Dr Hodge would remove them, but that hasn't happened either. This seems par for the course for Advent these days, but this visit was a complete waste of time and money.

Kind & Compassionate, easy to talk to. Excellent in prescribing what is needed.
If you’re in need of just a quick, run of the mill GP, he is acceptable. Anything more, save your time. Ignores patients, makes up excuses as to why he cannot return calls/texts for days at a time (if at all). Very disappointing
Outstanding customer focus! I walked into WellStar on Delk. I checked in, and was ushered into a room, in timely fashion. Dr. Omari Hodge is observent, and knowledgeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
