Raj Ambay's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ambay started out the visit by telling me a little bit of his background and life experience as well as professional experience along with why he chose plastic surgery. He seems very down to earth and has a very good outlook on life and the things that are important in life. Having gone through some personal experiences with my own family which make me know how much to cherish every minute you have with each family member made me really connect with him. Unlike some doctors I have been to in the past doctor Ambay never made me feel rushed he never made me feel pressured he never made me feel uncomfortable at all. He checked in with me all throughout the consultation about whether or not I understood and whether or not I had questions. He was very patient and professional with every step of the visit and had reasons to back up every procedure that he explained and recommended to me. He definitely gained my trust and therefore made me trust that he is very careful in choosing his staff and his anesthesiologist. I also liked that he had actual photos in his hands of before and after pictures rather than showing me something on a computer that he could’ve doctored up yes I know he could’ve doctored up photos but there were a select few and I trusted them more. I am still in the decision making process but if I choose not to go forward with my procedures it will have nothing to do with how I feel about Dr. Ambay as a capable and caring professional. I also liked the pricing structure where he doesn’t nickel and dime you to death... This is one decision in my life where I fully expect to get what I pay for and I think he is reasonable considering all the time and effort he had to put into educy and training as well as all the experience that he has.

Dr. Ambay is in every way, an amazing surgeon with a heart of gold. The moment I met him I knew he would be transforming my life and he most certainly did. He took the time to answer all my questions. I left after my consultation with confident feeling and was excited about how he would be walking me through this journey. Do not hesitate to have him be your cosmetic surgeon.

Went for my consultation for breast augmentation. I was nervous, but Dr. Ambay was amazing, made me feel comfortable, and he was very personable. I know I’m making the right decision choosing him as my doctor. Staff was amazing from the initial phone call to the very end of my visit. Can’t wait to see my results

After three years of doing research and meeting various surgeons, I finally met Dr. Ambay. Not only did he spend 2 full hours with me during my consultation, but explained to me what he would recommend and not recommend based on MY body. I couldn’t believe that I even considered other surgeons. Dr. Ambay showed me what a consultation with a caring, intelligent and skilled surgeon was really supposed to be. I am now 11 days post-op from my tummy tuck, muscle repair, breast lift and lipo in various places. My incision looks perfect and my body is healing beautifully. I belong to a tummy tuck group who have shared their post op photos of their incisions and prepared myself for that. I was floored (and so was my mom) when I saw how beautiful and precise my incisions were! NOTHING like all those other photos I had seen! Not only that, but when I emailed Dr. Ambay EVERYDAY my first week of surgery, HE RESPONDED THE SAME DAY and answered my questions and calmed my anxieties. I am SO thankful

I went for a consultation in December and he took in consideration my concerns and questions about the surgery. Explained thoroughly and dispelled many of my worries. After leaving his office I knew I had made the right decision. I had the surgery a few weeks later and I am thrilled with my results!!! Already have recommended a couple of my friends.

On 11/ 16/2017, I had breast augmentation/replacement with silicone and removal of saline, an internal sling and lift performed. I was impressed with Dr. Ambay's personality and how he listened to my concerns. This is why I chose him. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the outcome of the surgery. It has been over a year now, so there is no more "settling of my breasts". My left breast nipple turns out and down to the left and there is a buckling of the skin at the incision sight.

Dr. Ambay was nothing short of amazing. He truly took the time before, during and after my surgery to ensure I had the absolute best outcome. After a long journey with stage 3 breast cancer, Dr. Ambay allowed me to not only look but feel like my old self again. I will forever be grateful to him and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Ambay was able to do the impossible for me. I was referred by a prominent Chicago Plastic Surgeon to Dr. Ambay to address a problem with an existing breast implant. I had been told it was unlikely to be repairable and that at best I could expect a 2 night stay in a hospital and likely future complications and additional surgeries. That was before I consulted with Dr. Ambay. I am a new person now thanks to his skill and experience, he is the best! Thank you Dr. Ambay!

I interviewed many plastic surgeons and I made the right choice. I had a breast lift, lipo, and scar reduction. I highly recommend Dr. Ambay. He is caring, knowledgeable, and in my opinon he enjoys what he does.

I met with Dr. Ambay and WOW! What a difference. He spent 2 hours with me answering all my questions. I had seen other plastic surgeons and they spent less than 10 minutes with me.
