Rajan Narula's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Narula is amazing, however, his front office staff is garbage. In January 2023 the staff messed up my FMLA and Short Teen disability paper work while I was in the hospital which caused my Short Term Disability paperwork to be denied. I called to schedule my follow up visit and I was told that I had to be set up as a new patient since I had not been in the office in 2 years although Dr. Narula saw me inpatient while I was in the hospital in January which was well within the “2 year” policy. Fast forward to today 10/3/23, I drove to the office for my scheduled appointment and the doors were locked. I called the front office to let them know and the young lady who answers the phone continuously told me the doors were open instead of coming to the door to check for herself. She his is extremely unfortunate that such an amazing doctor has horrible staff members that do not match his energy or bedside manner.

I had a great experience with the doctor, but the administration office is horrible. Constantly get you extra bills (hard to explain why), you call and it is hard to get a personal, and some of them are rude. I didn’t recommend it. Avoid the headache of a bad administration office.

My son needed a GI doctor and we were so impressed with him. Amazing bedside manner. Would also call with results not force patient to make another appt to come back into office. Office staff does need to be re-trained but Definitely recommend the Doctor!

Office staff is terrible. I called Dr. Narula's office months in advance to cancel a surgery, they confirmed it had been canceled, but then I got a call from the surgery center a few days before it had been scheduled saying it was never canceled. Had to call Dr. Narula's office again multiple times before it was actually canceled. I asked for an email confirmation for the cancelation, was told they'd send it, but never received anything. Not worth the stress -- find somewhere else to go.

Dr. Narula is a personable doctor that will take his time with you if needed. His office staff are always professional as well. The office is cheerful, not too busy, and the service is much more personalized because it is a smaller practice. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Narula is one of the kindest and most caring Doctors that I have met! I had a HORRIFIC experience with Dr.Cody for months, from September 2021 to April 2022 I have gone to the hospital 7 or 8 times and Dr.cody did absolutey nothing for me other then prescribe me medication that wasn’t even fixing or helping the problem. Within my FIRST appointment with Dr.narula he was able to give me better medication to help with my symptoms, and stressed that if I go to the hospital again to call his office and he will come to the hospital or send someone if he can not come. He did an EDG and a Colonoscopy, and I was very scared and nervous so I was crying a bit, but the WHOLE staff from that hospital was SO kind, caring, and empathetic, they tried to calm me down and work with me before, during and after the procedure. With Dr.Cody’s office after the procedure I was coming in and out of Anastasia and they did not help me at all, even when I had to walk to the bathroom. This hospital walked me into the bathroom, helped me and walked me back to the chair, they were the kindest people I have ever met! My symptoms have finally lessened and I havent had to go to the hospital since working with Dr.Narula back in April!

Scheduled an appointment after seeing him in the hospital, he was very nice. However after waiting a month to see him after release from the hospital I was called after business hours the night before my 9 am appointment to be informed my insurance is not accepted. So this review is more about the office staff than the doctor.
