I am so thankful for the time Dr. Friedman took with me today. A very kind and knowledgeable doctor that took the time to run all the tests and explain everything in a clear and concise manner. The office staff, at the front desk and the technicians in the back were so kind and efficient. If you have retinal eye concerns this is the doctor to see.

Seems to be very knowledgeable ,efficient and capable. Slightly brusque and lacks bedside manners but then he is an ophthalmologist, not a chaplain or a psychologist.

I have been a patient of Dr Friedman for over 10 years and his treatment of my Diabetes Retinopathy has been good. Dr Friedman is an elitist with a poor bedside manner. It came to a head for me in that I began to fear asking questions because I knew he would talk down to me. On my last visit I felt I was being forced to chose my best treatment and was belittled for asking for his opinion, as if I should understand the treatment options he was giving. No matter his skill, if I can’t speak to him, it’s time to move on.

Emergency surgery yesterday. Detached retina. I do not give a flying flip about his personality. He is a remarkable surgeon and I am grateful to him. His staff was great too. I am 60 years old and a medical professional. I never met him or heard of him before yesterday because I’m not from here. I have no personal reason to recommend this doctor. He is highly skilled, competent, and well qualified. I rate my overall experience as excellent. He was polite and appropriately friendly. If you want warm fuzzies and smiles go to Disneyworld. If you need a darn good eye surgeon, I recommend Dr. Friedman.

He missed a scar on my eye due to scissors puncture. Did not address the issue that was referred. A bubble/cyst, he did not find it until I showed him the report with graphics from referring opthamologist. My time was up he said he’d see me in six months. Not going to happen.

Dr. Friedman seemed very knowledgeable of all the latest treatments and fully capable of performing them. Explained my options very well.
