Dr. Imudia has treated me over 3 years, and I have to say that my experience was nothing short of incredible. I felt immediately at ease because the entire team welcomed me with warmth and friendliness the moment I walked into the clinic. Dr. Imudia is a distinguished doctor with a rare blend of knowledge and sincere compassion. He and his team were incredibly patient and attentive during my appointment. They never made me feel hurried and took the time to listen carefully to all of my issues. They made me feel like I was a valued patient by their willingness to comprehend my issue at a deeper level. What sets Dr. Imudia apart is his remarkable empathy. They showed a genuine interest in my well-being and made every effort to ensure that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. It was evident that they not only cared about my physical health but also my emotional and mental well-being. They provided me with clear explanations, answering all of my questions with empathy and understanding. Special thanks to Stephanie Hernandez (RN), she's awesome!

I want to thank dr. Imudia and his team for all the support and positive thought through the process. This was our first tine trying IUI and even through all the procedure it was explained and absolutely amazing. Me and my partner couldn't be happier as i am 4 months pregnant and duevin November!!. The doctors and nurses I worked with were great which is why I'm at least giving 2 stars. All I can do is speak to the truthfulness of what has compelled me to leave such a negative review regarding billing issues. I was a patient of theirs for a full year (2022). I had 5 IUI's and 2 IVF cycles. During that period, my insurance coverage changed in April of 2022. When I updated this with the clinic on 4/20/2022, I was advised by my financial counselor 4/21/2022 that she didn't see any fertility coverage with Cigna. That same day I replied back clarifying what fertility coverage I had based on the Cigna plan information and provided her with a copy of that breakdown that was given to me directly from Cigna. I spoke with Cigna as well and they reached out to my financial counselor to clear this confusion up. On 4/29/2022, I received an email confirmation from her that it’s all been verified and coverage info (including limits) was noted in my file. 1st IVF Cycle - I received a deposit schedule on 6/22/2022. It listed the IVF cost $0, PGT testing $2100.00 and anesthesia $600.00. At that time I also had a credit balance with the clinic of $2219.82. We opted not to do the PGT, so that cost was ultimately removed which still left me with a credit. On 7/21/2022 I received notice that $98.00 was due towards anesthesia and that had to be paid prior to the procedure as all outstanding balances and deposits for estimated upcoming charges are due before procedures are cleared to take place. After taking care of that, we were cleared and I had the procedure on 8/23/2022. Unfortunately, we couldn't do a fresh transfer as planned and had to be switched to a frozen one. On 8/31/2022 I received another deposit schedule. This was for the upcoming frozen transfer and was in the amount of $139.80. I paid that as well in order to proceed with the transfer on 10/12/2022. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful... 2nd IVF Cycle – I advised the clinic we were ready to start round 2 on 10/28/2022. The nurse told me she would let the doctor know and would verify I was financially cleared in order to send out the cycle calendar and get things started. I got the cycle calendar that evening and that was it. Nothing from the finance dept. On 10/31/2022 I received an invoice from billing in the amount of $83.50. I paid it as expected and that was the last communication that came to me from billing before egg retrieval day, 12/3/2022. I was never given an estimate on cycle charges, and I was never asked to make a deposit to cover any projected cost difference that Cigna may not pay based on remaining coverage amounts etc. This time, none of our embryos made it to transfer day nor did any survive to be frozen. And then this... On 12/13/2022, I received an invoice for $1,118.56. No other communication, just the invoice. I paid for it thinking oh, this must be left over from my 2nd cycle, a billing oversight for whatever reason, so I went ahead and took care of it on 12/16/2022. Then just before Christmas on 12/22/2022 I received another invoice, but this one was for a whopping $7,461.91! Surprise!!!:-( I literally broke down crying as it had already been an overwhelming emotional roller-coaster to this point. I was completely beside myself and as perplexed as could be. I was totally not expecting this. Had I had known, or at the very least been advised of this in a deposit schedule or patient/procedure cost estimate based on allotments remaining under insurance coverage as a possibility of charges back to me for thousands of dollars BEFORE 12/3/2022, I would have never gone through with that 2nd cycle. I believed someone in billing was tracking the in's and out's and balancing that against my coverage limits, being those amounts had been on file since April 2022. It doesn't feel right and its like someone in billing or finance dropped the ball on this and doesn't care enough to admit it. I’m exhausted, heartbroken, and beside myself over the whole situation.

By far the best Doctor and staff!! I was under the care of Dr. Imudia and his team with such a positive experience from day one. They were patient with me in answering all my questions and concerns. Not once did I feel rushed at any of my appointments. (42 and successful round)! This team has changed our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

We requested medical records be provided to another provider following conclusion of visitation; however, notwithstanding almost a dozen requests and promises, it was never done. Given its importance, it was disappointing.

Love this office! Everyone was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. We were able to achieve our fertility goals and we are very grateful to Shady Grove.
